  1. Welcome to bandland! :biggrin1:
  2. I am happy to hear you are a survivor! Thank goodness you got in the proper hands when you did. Thanks for sharing your story with us, and good luck in the future.
  3. There is a ton of information here just for taking the time to read it. You won't be sorry to take the time to go through all the old as well as the new threads. Good Luck!
  4. Water is so important, so please try to get that in. Walking helped me more witht he gas than anything else did. I used a heating pad for my shoulder though.
  5. Congrats! You'll be feeling better soon!
  6. Amazing! You are so beautiful, and your pictures are so awsome! Great job, you should be very proud of yourself. I'm sorry to hear about your Mom. :grouphug:
  7. Welcome to LBT and to bandland!:biggrin1:
  8. Congrats, and welcome to LBT!
  9. You are very fortunate to have found this out before hand. My thoughts are with you! Please keep us posted! Good Luck!
  10. It's only natural to be scared, nervous, and excited all at once. My doctor told me if I wasn't nervous, he would think something was wrong with me.
  11. Me too! No loss in the cup size at all.
  12. It's very unlikely that you will stretch your pouch with liquids, especially since you don't have a fill yet. You will notice a lot of restriction right at first since you are still swollen.
  13. I was just the opposite, I couldn't wait for someone to notice I lost weight! When they ask, I told them I was exercising more and eating less, and more or less following the South Beach Diet, which I didn't lie by telling them any of this.
  14. It really is important for you to find a doctor to care for you that is close to home. You are going to find out that not many doctors will take a patient that is banded in Mexico. Please keep trying until you find one before you are banded. Good Luck!
  15. You look beautiful Penni, and I love the new hair style!
  16. TGIF! Just jumping in to say hello, trying to read up on a few posts before I fall asleep. We actually got off early today, was going to finish up my contract job but when I got home I started on the house and that ended that! Oh well, tomorrow is another day, just wanted not to worry about it all weekend. I am trying to watch the mav's game, DH is yelling it's back on. I still haven't read the posts yet, so I have some catching up to do. I'll get back with you all tomorrow, until then hope you are having a great day! Everyone that is going out of town, have a great time! Later!
  17. Welcome to LBT! Lots of information here, sit a spell and start reading!:biggrin1:
  18. Take them right before you start eating, then you won't be drinking during your meals.
  19. You alread know what you have to do, so now you can get back on the program. Welcome to LBT! Keep us posted!
  20. I had one, and I was glad I did! It didn't hurt at all, and I got a great nights sleep!:biggrin1:
  21. It is not mandatory that they pay you, but most companies do. When I worked in Government, they paid us for jury duty, but we had to turn in the money the court paid us, which went back into the fund. It's not fair, but that is the law. They do have to keep your job open for you though. I actually worked in the same office as the gal that had the jury position.
  22. Wow Sue, you look great! I'm glad you found something that works for you.
  23. Good Morning Y'all, Sorry, things have been really hectic for me the last couple of weeks. Hopefully this weekend I can finally catch up with ya! Kat I haven't had a chance to read all the posts, but wanted to let you know that I am thinking about you and DH. There just isn't enough hours in the day for me! Yikes, did I really say that? I mean I don't have time to get it all done! Hmmmmm Anyway, I just wanted to stop in and say hello, let ya know I am still alive and kicking and that I think about you even though I can't be here. I think I need to find a job that I can be on LBT too! Later!
  24. I had to have several fills before I finally got some restriction. Also, remember just because you can eat it all doesn't mean you should. If it's time for another fill, call your doctor.
  25. It's normal, you are wide open when you haven't had a fill. This is the healing time, take it easy, heal up and after you get your first fill, you'll see a difference.
