  1. Welcome to bandland! My surgeon's office does all my fills, however they do use the doctors training with him at times.
  2. You will fit just fine, when boarding the plane ask for the extender then, that way you won't have to ask in front of everyone else. Enjoy yourself, and don't let something like that spoil your trip. :eekB:
  3. My heart goes out to you.:eekB: Please let us know more about your problem, and was this all band related. I for one would love for you to keep posting with us and let us know how you are doing. I'll keep you in my prayers. Hugs!
  4. $2.89 here in Texas by me!
  5. Welcome to bandland!  Glad to hear things went so well for you! Walking is the best thing you can do!
  6. Awwww, Trich, my heart goes out to you. I would definately get a second opinion if I was you. Please go with your gut feeling, it usually is the right one every time. Keep us posted!
  7. Good Morning, Just popping in to say hello, hopefully later today I can sit down and read some of the posts and answer you each. I have just been busting my bunns on all this work, and it is really starting to get to me. I am going to try to get most of my house work done today so maybe I can have some time to myself tomorrow. We'll see, I already have the floors mopped and swept, and one load of laundry done so I am on my way. lol Count me in on the binge eating, I have been eating things I haven't eaten in over a year, I can't figure out why, I guess I just have the head deamon coming out. You name it, and I have been eating it! Of course I have done zero exercising too, which makes it double bad! Well, I am going to get busy and finish some work up, then run to the bank so I can pay some bills! Oh yeah, I think we have a guy coming to look at the motor on the pool, maybe we can get it up and going again! We finally got all the parts for it yesterday!:clap2: :clap2: :clap2: Catch ya all later!
  8. I agree, what a great NSV! :clap2: :clap2: :clap2:
  9. Welcome to bandland, it really does get better each day!
  10. It depends on the doctor himself. I was self pay, so I didn't have to go though all the pre-testing. It's usually the insurance companies that require the additional testing. I had to have updated blood tests though. I also had to make sure my yearly girly testing was up to date too. Good Luck!
  11. __________________ Did your doctor tell you you shouldn't be able to eat breakfast? I have always been able to eat breakfast. My doctor told me the opposite, you should always eat solid food and not liquids.
  12. I have a lot of loose skin, and would love to have my arms, legs, TT, and breast done. I don't know that I will, but would love to.
  13. I used the Carnation Instant Breakfast too, the chocolate can be made up hot or cold and tastes pretty good. They can also be made up in smoothies.
  14. Hey Y'all! Sorry I was so down on Sunday, but I had just had my fill of things I guess. I was tired and on top of all that my Aunt (the one I went to visit this summer) that was so sick is just a little bit better. She is starting to eat again, and she is in rehab, but has to learn to walk since she has been down for 8 months. Well, this weekend her DH had to be rush to the hospital for emergency surgery on his colon. Then her sister my other Aunt fell and broke her hip and had surgery this weekend. I also have an Aunt in the nursing home up north that isn't doing very good! Needless to say, I felt like I was losing my whole family! Hopefully things will start looking up again soon. Just too much bad news all at once. Darcy girl! Welcome back! I figured you were working in the yard or on quilts! I am very proud of you for not smoking, I won't throw anything at your if you start again, but I can honestly say it won't help you to start up again, just make you feel worse. So, just hold out and things will be better. You know they have so many new things out now that can help you. Mary - You are doing the right thing, going for custody is the best thing you can do right now. I am so proud of you for learning how to mow and edge. Now, do something special for yourself like a nice hot bubble bath! Don't be so worried about the court stuff, I am sure they will see right through him, especially since he hasn't even tried to see the kids. Beanie - Congrats on losing the puffiness, now I need to join you. I have been eating everything in sight, and especially things I shouldn't be eating at all. Heck, I'm not even a sweet eater and I have been eating all kinds of stuff. They eat like heck at this new job, cakes all the time, there are so many people and every b'day is cake etc. I have been eating a lot of ice cream too. The scale hasn't moved up, but I can actually feel the difference in my clothes! Boooooo hoooooooo! Cindy - Yes, those slips are expensive, that is why I am going to make him get rid of it. We are at Joe Pool lake on the Marina side, not the State park. It is really nice, but we don't use it, so it's time to lose it! Work is going good, it was really busy today. I am getting to know a lot of the people and they are nice. They love to eat too much though! Anne - It's so nice to have them home, but I was always ready to have them go back. They get bored too easy and when you are used to being alone, it can be hard. How old are your kids? They are so adorable. Sherry - You must be out riding! Enjoy, it is so fun! Eileen - What's up lady? How was your day? You'll have to tell us all about the food you fix for the whole week, I could use some ideas. I'll say one thing, when I smoke some meat up and make up a bunch of salads, it is a god send. Pat - How is DS hand doing? Hopefully he isn't too sore! I have been meaning to ask you how your DM is doing with her band? You need to post a picture of her for us. Do you look like her? Paula - I can't tell too much from the fern you had posted, but it should come back for you. There are so many ferns, and I don't know them all by names, but some you can divide and make more, and some you just leave alone. Kat - Hope you are doing great, let us know when you can. Do any of you watch Prison Break? Boy, do I love that show. It seems like it just starts though and it's over with! Well I am going to get off here and get some rest. Catch you all later.
  15. Good Morning Y'all! Well, I finally got to go riding yesterday, made me feel like a new person that just had a nice vacation! :) Cindy - I am so sorry about your DFIL, my thoughts are with you. You certainly have had your share of heartaches lately. I'll keep him and your family in my prayers. Sherry - How far have you went on your bike so far? Does your DH ride too? Has he got a bike? Pat - I am jelous, fishing! I love to fish, we even have a boat at the lake, but just don't get down there much anymore. I told DH if he didn't use it last year I was just going to sell it. Well, we used it 2 times, not enough to pay for the slip and the fishing license. I think I am going to talk him into selling it. Glad DS is o.k. and I'm glad he got to see his son. It's hard for anyone to go through all that without all the fighting and destroying things. Patty - Glad you had such a good time! Well, did DH notice the flowers? It's always nice to do thngs for yourself. Paula - Actually I haven't seen your flower questions, I guess I missed them. Our pool isn't quite warm enough yet to go swimming, and since the problems with the pump and all, I guess it will be a few more weeks. Enjoy your time in the pool, I can't wait to get back into mine, seems like it is the only exercise I really enjoy getting anymore. Beanie - How was the fair? Hope you had a good time and relaxed a bit too! Eileen - What all do you make with the tuna? I see you use a lot of it, just wondering what you make. I hope it stopped raining for you! Yikes, just looked at the clock and I need to be on the road. Y'all have a wonderful day! Later!
  16. Good Morning Y'all! Sorry I haven't been here much, it's just been pretty hectic lately for me. Yesterday I thought it would be a nice easy relaxing day. I planned on going to one store and then the bank and home, then for a nice long ride. Well, it didn't work out like that at all, I ended up going to 3 stores, then got stuck in a funeral on the way to the bank, then noticed my car's inspection was expired and had been for a month! Well, in Texas you just don't ride around with an expired sticker! So, up to get the state inspection done. Then the motor went out on the pool, so I ordered one of those last week, got it yesterday only to have it bent and broken up, called and they are going to replace it but DH broke something else trying to get the old one off, so off to find that part! I ended up ordering it on line after going to several places that didn't have it. Then we were supposed to go to a grand opening for one of the neighbors Mother's place at 3:00 so in the shower I went and then off to the grand opening. It was a really cool place and they had a lot of wonderful stuff. We got a really neat frame that has a harley on it, and a horse that is done up in like a harley. It is really cute. Anyway, got back home about 8:00, tired and no harley ride! Hopefully today I can go for a short one, today is laundry and cleaning day, but I also have to get my contract work done. I have let it go most of the week like a dumb-a$$! Sherry - congrats on the license! Yes, you will get over some of it, but you will always be a little nervous about it. People in cars just don't look out for motorcycles. The old saying is "When you let your guard down, that is when things happen". Any time you are too confident, you'll be sorry. So, it is a good thing you are a little nervous. It does get easier with seat time. Have fun and don't forget to take some pictures of you on it for us! Pat - Sorry I missed your call yesterday, hope we get to talk soon! Kelly - Hope you get things worked out, visit when you can. Eileen - Hope the headache is better today. Beanie - It's too bad that we are so busy! I feel like I am missing something not being here everyday. I got so use to being home and being on all day long to not being on much at all, and I don't much like it! You sound like you love shopping as much as me, now if I only had all the money I wanted to shop with! :) Kat - Good luck, and keep us posted! Cindy - Morning sunshine! Darcy - Where are you girl? Donna - How is the new job going? Do you like it? Dianne - Hello! It sounds like you are doing great! Well, I know I missed some, but if I intend on getting anything done at all today I have to get busy. I really do want to get on my Harley and go for a ride, today will be perfect for it weather wise. Catch you all later! I love and miss you all when I'm not here! Hugs!
  17. I totally agree with this and would have said the same thing myself. Let's face it, a lot of times we say things we wish we hadn't said and I think we have the right to delete what we said. The part I don't agree with is deleting a whole long valuable thread. If you want to take out the portion that involves yourself, then contact one of the moderators and let them remove only what you said. We lost a lot of valuable information in the last week, that could have been avoided. Please, if you are upset with a thread that you started, contact one of us and let's talk about it before you delete it.
  18. ROFLMAO! Lisa, you are the only person I know that can get in trouble when you aren't even here! :)
  19. Mornin Y'all! Boy, it's hot! 101 degrees yesterday, and more of the same today! Thank goodness for good old air conditioning. Alot of places didn't have electric though, and I sure felt sorry for them! Dianne - That is so funny about the canoe trip. Glad to see you here, and glad that you had such a fun day! Congrats on that 60 pound loss too! Cindy and Beanie - Did you lose your electric? Well, can't talk with ya anymore, got to press my blouse and get my butt dressed! I sure would like to stay home today! Later!
  20. Good Morning! We had a great time at the neighbors, went swimming, sat in the hot spa, and ate way too much. I am not even going to weigh in this morning, I know by the clothes I am wearing that I gained some! Needless to say this morning I am watching what I eat again! :) I could also use a few more hours of sleep! My roses bloomed just in time for the party on Saturday, so I had roses everywhere. They were just beautiful. My Iris's bloomed, and so did all my red daylilies. Gosh, the yard looked like it was full of spring. I loved it! I tried to eat some pineapple and the first bite I took it kinda slid down and poof...got stuck. I thought it was gonna come back up but it didn't...it just hurt for about 20 minutes as I paced the floor. See thats what I get for "trying" to eat healthy haaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. I can't eat pineapple either, gets stuck everytime. I have to be careful with all kinds of fruit for some reason. I can eat chips/meat/ etc. but something simple like fruit and bang it stops me. If I take it really slow and chew really well, I can eat some fruit. I am a fruit lover, so it makes me mad! Sherry - Hang in there, I think we most of us that have brothers/sisters have at one time gone through what you are experiencing. It's not fun, it makes us mad, but for some reason we all come out a better person for it. Maybe we just don't want to turn out like them. I don't think most of what I fixed for the party was exactly band friendly, some things were and some was just downright fattening, bad for ya food! :) You know the good stuff!:clap2: :clap2: :clap2: Pat - I can't do a trip this year, just getting back to work and all. Maybe next year! I would love to meet y'all though, I have become to love and care about everyone! Well, I don't have time to address the rest of ya, I spent too much time messing around getting dressed this morning. I gotta hit the road and try to survive the day. I am tired this morning, I think the whole weekend has caught up with me. I got more stuff from the contract company yesterday too, so back to evening work for me again for a while. Later!
  21. Happy Easter Y'all! Deann - Hope your DF is going better! Thoughs and prayers are with you at this time.
  22. Happy Easter Y'all! Well, the party is over and it was a big hit! We had about 25 people here and it was a fun time. I was tired, but I still enjoyed it. I woke up on Friday at 2:00 am, just stayed in bed till 4 and decided that was stupid, so I got up and started making my potato salad. I never did go back to bed, so I was really ready for bed last night! I made some pork and chicken in the smoker, then I made potato salad, crab salad, macaroni salad, and baked beans. I also made some quaseo (?) dip and served that with chips as snack till everyone got here. I made up a big batch of Pat's drinks and they all loved them too! Eileen - I do the same thing, get up every morning between 4:30 and 5:00, never set an alarm clock. I guess I just did it for so many years that I can't break the habit. If I stay in there any longer than that my back hurts real bad when I get up! I sure hope that cough gets better for you! Ira - That is so cool that your DW is going to do the lapband too! I would think it would be so much easier to do when both people are on it. When is she going to have it done, does she have a date yet? Pat - You are so sweet to do all that for your son. We all think once we raised them that is the end, and it just never is. I guess it keeps us busy, just helping them out. Is she letting him have the kids at all for visitation? I have just been busy with this party and all. I can't get on here at work, as my boss sits right behind me and can see what I do. My screen is visable to both the big boss and my office manager at all times. That is the one thing I don't like about it. Darcy - Hey girl, are you going to the cabin this weekend? Have you started any of your quilts yet? How is that fill working for you? Kelly - Glad you can fit in the jeans, hope you feel much better too! Shackdog - Hello! Glad to see you here! Donna - Love your avatar! Hey, a stuffed dog is better than no dog! You are probably right, I don't think I can sit still for too long. I am learning though! :puke: :puke: Patty - It's a good thing I don't live near Disney, with all the things you talk about I would be a very poor person!:biggrin1: Mary - That is sweet of your DSIL! Hopefully she will remain your friend. Sherry - Hopefully things will work out with your family. Try not to worry about it too much, sometimes the less said the better off it is. My heart goes out to you. Cindy - Making cookies again! I think I am done making cookies for a long time! I sure got carried away at Christmas time, I guess it was because I wasn't working and got bored. Anne - Hey girl, what ya doin today? How is that band working for you? Can you tell the difference in the two bands? I hope I didn't miss anyone, if I did I'm sorry. Just wanted to wish you all a nice Easter. Warning! The following is a dirty joke, so if you don't like them don't read any further! Hey, do you all know why the Easter Bunny hides his easter eggs? He doesn't want anyone to know he's been F........ing chickens! Gotta go!
  23. Good Morning! TGIF! I am glad the weekend is here! :) Eileen - I am so jelous that you get the day off! I sure could use the day off! I am trying to get this party stuff done, and I haven't even made a dent in it. I still have to make my salads, clean the house, finish up the back yard, go to the store, and the bank. Yikes! Pat - I sure hope the lawyer your son got is good, it is so hard to beat a woman in court. Doesn't she know that if she is going to get child support she has to claim that he is the father? She must really be dumb! Sure hope things work out for him. I'm here if you need me!:uwelcome: Sherry - I am so glad you passed your test! You'll be riding before you know it. :D How is the fill doing? It really is hard to tell while you're still on liquids. Cindy - Sure hope it all the estate stuff goes easy for ya! It seems like there is always one person that causes problems! Beanie - You don't have to deny that new beau of yours, we won't tell DH! At least now we know why you love going there all the time! :D Anne - I like that recipe site too! I have to admit though the last few weeks I have been cooking as little as possible. Your day at the park sounds so nice! Donna - I can't wait till I can get into our pool and do some exercising. It's the only kind of exercising I don't mind doing! Dianne - Glad to see you here again! I hope you got that relaxation you needed! Yikes, forgot about being late, gotta run, good morning to y'all that I missed. I have to get dressed! Later!
  24. Good Morning Y'all! I'm running late this morning, but wanted to stop and say hello. Sherry - I loved your story about the two of you meeting! Good luck on your test today! I hope you get everything you have to do done! Enjoy your day even if it means a lot of work! "Happy Birthday too!" Glad you had a great one! Beanie - Glad to see you are having some fun this time you are there instead of just working. I haven't been to the fair either, but our neighbors keep asking us to go. I'll see if we can't work something out. Kelly - Sorry about DH problems. Don't give in to him and tell him you'll get a second job, heck tell him if he don't want to get a job you are going to quit yours! Scare him to death sweetie! Pat - Wow, that girl is nuts alright. Next thing she'll be calling and telling him how sorry she is and want him back! Sure hope he don't do that! Heck, I think we all should just pack our bags and come up there and kick her little a$$ and run her right out of town! :D Be careful, gals like that do crazy things! Donna - Glad your family noticed your WL. Gosh, you are sure good about exercising! Darcy - Glad you had a good time at the quilt fair. I love quilts! Anne - Do you live near Shipshewana? I used to go there all the time! I love it! Randy - Hope you feel better soon! Cindy - Good luck with the Estate! Why does stuff like that always cause such problems? You just can't make everyone happy! Well, I probably missed someone, but have to really shake a leg now and get my shower done, hair done, pack my lunch and run like hell! :D
  25. Cute, thanks for the laugh!
