Maybe LBT is out of storage space (downtime the other day) and they need to free up space in order to not crash again.

Just a thought.....

I didn't say it was Delarla who'd done it, it's just that when you delete a thread, or portions of threads, it's called "pulling a Delarla." :bandit

Speaking of Delarla, you need to send me pix of your house so I can figure out what colors. Also, what sort of mood are you looking for, what atmosphere? My kitchen and living room are deep green because it is very relaxing for me. The room that was my craft room and now my bedroom is yellows and gold. (no direct sunlight)

What are you looking for?

ahh... I didnt know that ......I didn't notice any threads missing though, just the Da Vinci one, but I thought that one got moderated.....

Heather,

Dylansmom was the one that started the Di Vinci thread - and she deleted it because it was getting out of hand.

thats an idea!

I noticed the vegetarian one was missing, too, but I thought maybe I just couldn't find it again. I was really enjoying that, too. I did post the seitan recipe someone asked about, so maybe that will get it going again...

They could delete the "End of 2005 weight loss challenge" sticky since it is April.....and no one has posted on it since January, lol.

DeLarla is right, only the person who started a thread can delete it. Moderators can, but we don't unless we are asked to by the person who started it. Threads that are no longer active just drift to the bottom; there's no need to actively delete threads at all. I'm sure the servers have some sort of auto-archive process in place to preserve space, if necessary. Deleting threads wouldn't help in any significant way if disk space were a problem.

So the answer is---it must be the thread-starters who are deleting them. Why? Who knows. But it's their prerogative if they want to do it.
