  1. Just another view of them:
  2. These are some of my favorite around the pool, these trees have grapes on them and the birds love them, it's fun to watch them.
  3. Here are my day lilies a few weeks ago:
  4. #3 here is the front of the house:
  5. another one:
  6. Picture time, or at least I am going to try!:girl_hug:
  7. Happy bandiversary! 40 pounds is great! Just look at all the improvements that 40 pounds did!:clap2: :clap2: :clap2:
  8. I had times that the scale didn't move at all, but noticed that during that time I lost inches. Perhaps you are doing that too. In answer to your question yes, you can be too tight, but it sounds like you are able to eat right, so I doubt that is your problem. I sometimes think our bodies take a rest to catch up. Sometimes you won't lose anything for a couple of weeks, then all of a sudden boom 5-10 pounds will drop fast. I wouldn't jump too fast to consider it a problem for a couple of weeks anyway.
  9. Hey Y'all! Busy, busy, busy! Yup, that's what I have been much of the day. Got up early got some laundry done and the floors done. Then ran to the store and bank, came home and started weeding. I got about 75% of the pool area done! Boy, does it look great! Then I cooked Breakfast, then I decided to swim for a while, layed on my raft, then I swept the pool and scrubbed down the sides. Then I worked some more on the flower beds. I just finished cooking supper, and cleaned up the dishes. I am ready for a nap, having trouble keeping my eyes open, must be all that fresh air that I'm not use to! :biggrin1: An ant bite me while I was watering the flowers, and now my hand is swollen up to go with my swollen up foot! So, now you are caught up with my day!:girl_hug: :rose: :rose: I have to stay awake to watch the Mav's win tonight, at least I sure do hope they do! I don't want to have to go to a 7th game! Go MAV'S! Dianne - I don't know what I did to my foot, it just started hurting one day in the arch area, and now it just keeps swelling on me. It doesn't hurt when I sit, only when I walk. Thanks for asking though. Mary - They say women are always changing their minds, by listening to you, I guess the men are worse! I hope you had a great day. I hope your back is better. Eileen - Gosh, that sure would have scared me! I am beginning to think the medical people don't know chit! I have really heard some scary stories lately! Glad you got to be free today! Darcy - Hope your leg feels much better today! We just might have to have a get-together pity party. Beanie - Vacation! I want a vacation! All kidding aside, enjoy it gal, you deserve it! I have lots of flowers/veggies in pots too, but lots in the ground too! Heck, I would probably have them on the roof if I could get away with it! I am just a flower lover! Well, I am going to go get me a big glass of ice Water, kick my feet up and and try to stay awake to watch the game. Y'all send those win vibes to my boys now, ya hear? MAV'S, MAV'S, MAV'S!:clap2: :clap2: :clap2:
  10. Congrats! It'll be here before you know it!
  11. I only took about 3 days off work, but I have a sit down job, went back for half days for a couple days then back to full time.
  12. Glad to see you come out and post with us. Don't be a stranger anymore!
  13. It's only natural to feel all the things you are feeling. You are going through surgery and it's a scary thing for all of us. I can actually say that as the time got closer, and I read everything I could get my hands on, that I felt much better about it. The day of surgery the fear was actually gone, and I knew I was doing the right thing. Good Luck in whatever you decide to do.
  14. Vines - My prayers are with you and your family. I am glad to hear your mom is better. Now, get yourself well, we need your wisdom on this board. Hang in there sweetie, better things are on the way for you!:girl_hug:
  15. Welcome to LBT! Each case is different, depending on how fast they get everything done, to how fast they can add you to their surgery list. Good luck and let us know when your date it!
  16. I use the Flinstones Complete and the Viactiv Calcium, both were recommended by my doctor.
  17. What a way to start a day!
  18. Just wanted to welcome you to LBT, I can't help you though! Good Luck!
  19. Glad it was the gallbladder and not the band! I was lucky, my gallbladder was taken out quite a few years ago! Hope you start feeling lots better!
  20. Congrats to you! I am excited for you!:clap2: :clap2: :clap2:
  21. Congrats! Glad to hear you are back home and doing fine! I'm looking forward to seeing the pictures!
  22. Kat - Stress really does things to the band, so just be careful if you do get a fill. It would depend on how much fill you get as to how much eating out would bother you. I had a few fills before it bothered me, but some get tight on the first fill and can't eat much. You might want to consider waiting until things are over with before you get the fill, or just get a small one. If you aren't having problems with hunger yet, I definately would wait. Guess I wasn't much help huh?
  23. Hey Y'all! Darcy, send four of them men over here and make it fast! Sorry about you dog, I know you have had so many problems with them. My heart goes out to you, I know when I had my pets, they were like my kids, and it sure hurt to lose one or have one get really sick. Dianne - Great job with the w/l, heck you'll be there before you know it. Beanie - I was really good at the fair, I shared a turkey leg with DH and drank Water, it was after I got home and all the neighbors got together for supper that I screwed up! :D I wish I would have gotten to meet up with you! Hey, I watched that nun show, how funny! Patty - Go get them girl! Keep after them, they'll get sick of the phone calls and push you to the front!:clap2: :clap2: :clap2: :clap2: Sorry about the accident, but glad you were there to help him. Kat - I'm still keeping you and DH in my thoughts, I just know things will be alright. I would love to go to the Austin rally, just haven't made it yet! Maybe next year. I haven't forgotten that you want a picture of my bike either, I will get to it soon, I promise! I haven't caught up with the rest of the posts, seems like I just don't have enough hours to get it all done. I have been trying to post a few things on the boards too, but it seems like as soon as I start reading some of them, I run out of time to post! I sure hope people don't think I just don't care, because I like helping them alot! Cindy, Eileen, Anne, Sherry, Becky, Ira, Pat, and everyone else I missed, hope you are having a great day. I walked outside today and had another tomato ready to pick! Yummmmm, I love fresh tomatoes. My peppers are getting almost big enough too. But....... my weeds in my flower gardens are out growing the plants! Boy do I have my work cut out for me. The Mav's play tonight, and I sure do hope they win! Y'all keep your fingers crossed for them huh? I started walking again, did it for two weeks, and then this week, my foot is back to swelling up again, so no walking this week. I'll probably end up getting it checked out if I don't see some improvement soon. Well, going to go kick back and enjoy the rest of my evening.
  24. I pretty much eat what I want to but in smaller portions. Diets are known to fail when you can't have certain things so it makes sense to me. Now I don't say I can't have it, I choose to have it when I want it, knowing that I don't always choose to eat it. I do include lots of veggies in my diet, and try to also get some fruit in, but it is harder for me to eat after I eat the other stuff.
