Birth announcement...

:clap2: :clap2: :) :) :cheer2:

I am finally home! After almost a month of separation from my dh and kids, I have returned with a new son.

Maikia Tepuke was born on 15th May, weighing in at 6lb 3 oz, or 2.8kg. He is happy and healthy whilst I am a little worse for wear!!!

Seriously though, everything is great and perhaps I will post a pic or two if i can get hold of a digital camera.:)

COngrats Jodie!!!!! I hope you are able to post some pictures really soon!

A month of separation from your DH and kids? Sounds like you've had a "fun ride". I'm glad your waiting is over and send sincere congratulations to you and your DH on the arrival of your new son. I imagine your family is all smiles right about now. :)

Hi aussie_jode,

Sorry, I'm not up to date - did you have complications?

Congratulations on your new baby and getting to be back home with all the other ones! (I'm including your hubby in that list of babies!)

congratulations and welcome to the world baby ''T''

I had to be away so long because I live VERY remotely. There are no facilities for giving birth here and as my prior experiences have all had complications I had to go to town a few weeks early - you know how babies can surprise you sometimes. Then add on the week in hospital and then the days after waiting for the once a week plane home and it is only a few days short of a month!
