  1. If this is where you are then yes. They like to have everything in your file before they submit however, if it offers you any consulation. I hear Tricare responds quicker than most. Mine was approved in two days. I logged in online to track it myself and I saw approved. I immediately called the doctors office and they said that was quick. They said Tricare was fast but not that fast. The region I'm in is now handled by United Healthcare so Im not sure if that speeded up the process or not. I live in Nebraska. I pray you get an approval.

  3. I just had my very first fill on August 13,2013. I was given 2cc's and I am just wondering what others are eating and how much? Additionally, I am trying to figure out exactly when I am full. I struggle with knowing the feeling until I am about one bite away which has not been pretty. I have found it is much better for me to eat when I am not starving. When I am super hungry this is when I tend to do things not the correct way ( like chewing, and consumption control). Any information is appreciated and thanks in advance.

    Overeating

My surgeon says to eat solid foods and this will help with the feelness of fullness. I notice if I eat yougurt and smooth things I am hungry but. If I eat proteins and then veggies I tend to be fuller for a longer period of time. I just had my first fill on yesterday and it was only 2cc's. I am already thinking I should have had an additional two to three cc's lol.

    first fill

Hi! I am kind of confused although I know each physician is different. I had my very first fill on yesterday and I was numbed up, then the HUGE NEEDLE lol but no pain. My doctor had me to sip on some chalky white stuff while he viewed on the xray machine. I stood up the entire time. Not uncomfortable at all. I am exactly six weeks out. I have lost 18 pounds but I exercise 1 hour a day 5 days a week. Please share more of your experience with me. I am very excited to hear about it. And, other than bread ( giggles) what are you eating and how much?

    Excess mucous

Hello ladies, I am sorry to be the ignorant new person to the forum but please tell me what is PBING? I see this term used alot and have not a clue lol
  9. Hi! I am new to this group. I joined today:-) I also have tricare and I was approved. I have some pointers if you would like them. First, if you go online there is a sample letter of what they are looking for in your answer as to why you should be approved. I used this as a template to help me get started. Next, what state are you in? I live in Nebraska and they have a 6 month program you attend once a month which always gets you approved.
  10. Hi! I am new to this forum but already I can see we all share a common interest. I was banded on July 10,2013 and to date I have lost 18 pounds. I am very interested to know what and how much others are eating. I had my first fill on yesterday 2cc's and so far, I guess everything is fine. Please share your expertise with me.

    First Fill!

Hi! I just registered to this site. I also just received my first fill on yesterday. I only got 2cc. I have to return in 4 weeks for an additional fill. So far, I have lost 18 pounds since I started my pre-surgery liquid diet. I have tons of information but I would like to know how much and how often are you eating? Then, if not asking to much.... what exactly are you eating? I love meat and veggies so I have no problem with the change. My problem is knowing when I am full. I have had two mishaps where I took one bite to much and it was not pretty. I am happy for you and I do hope your successful in your journey. I work out 5 days a week for one hour. This seems to help with me getting all of my fluids in. What about you?
