  7. I just wanted to tell you thxs for the information you provided in this post. Ive been banded for 3 months going threw the ups and down, I have a small band, currently at 2.5cc, down 58lbs just reached the point I can only eat seafood, no other meats. I was really concerned about not being able to eat enough so I added more protein. Today I made a 52gram protein smoothie for breakfast which was at 7am. Well around 3pm I realized I hadnt even thought about eating. I tried to eat and of course you know what happened. I waited 2hrs then tried again and dumped again. I couldnt wait to get home and chat with my bandsters friends and ran up on this blog. I was wondering why some days Im able to tolerate more than others and I now realize its the amount of proteins I begin my day with. Thxs again and congrats on your success.
  8. I was banded by Dr Enochs @ Bariatric Specialist of NC 919 459 0091
  9. Yeah I just had my 2 week appt and had to see Dr Bruce. I wasnt to happy about that but I got over it. I return in 2 wks and I was told that I would see Dr Enochs.
  10. I went in for my last Dr. appt on 6/9 and was told that b/c of some insurance situations my surgery would be the next day, I got a little nervous but quickly got over it b/c I was so ready to begin my journey. Im on week 3 down, 18lbs and Im excited about my new future. My advice to any is to stay prayed up, make sure your are mentally ready for the change and enjoy the ride. The more I loose the more motivated and determined I become. Good Luck
  11. Yes Renee i was banded at Wake Med Cary. I was suppose to be banded at Rex but my surgery date got bumped up so I had to go where he was working that day.
  12. I was banded on 6/10/09 in Cary NC by the one and only Dr. Paul Enochs. I have about 10 co workers that took the journey before me with other doctors. Their stories with the nurses and Dr's was nothing like what i experienced with Dr Enochs, he was everthing i want from a Dr, his staff is really great as well.:thumbup::sneaky::thumbup:

I've been reading and educating myself about this procedure for months. However today hunger hit and I couldnt remember a thing. My girl freinds came in and cleaned up. I couldnt find not one piece of liturature to assist me through my crises. So here Im looking for tips from those who are vets at this band.:drool::mad2::drool::drool: Surgery date 6/10/09 Raleigh NC
