  1. If your ever stuck with out being in a tight space you might be a bandster If you have more leftovers in your fridge from meals eaten out then real food you might be a bandster...
  2. I am sooo sorry to hear your story... If you need support I am here. I can't say that I have had any problems... but I remember the struggle I used to feel when I was on my own without the band... and it would be very scary for me.

Harsh but true... Kellie is awful
  4. Penni... what happend with getting on the show? Any hope. I think you would be great. I wish you lived closer so that I could be more of a support. I am training for a triathlon. It really helps with the weightloss. It is a 1/2 mile swim, 11 mile bike and a 3mile run. I know it seems like a lot but its really fun. If you might like to do it with me I would love to be your e-training buddy.
  5. I love this site... thanks queen!
  6. well the band is not new... it is just new to the us... maybe you should look up reports from the J and J swedish band... that might give you more info. As to me. I may be nieve but if it makes me eat like this the rest of my life even if removed its all good!
  7. Sorry that it happened and so quickly at that. We all know we have different tollerances to different things, so why should the band be any different. I know women who had trouble with the RNY and some who found it great... that unfortunatly is how the world goes.
  8. I was a 22/24 and now I am a 14/16 I would like to be a 10... never been a 10!

  12. Fabu welcome to the new you!
  13. I began slowly... first with walks, I had a very bad knee. Then by the end of about 6 months I was up to a couple of miles. I moved in to a new community and my neighbors and I began a walking club in the summer. It made me more consistant and by that time I had dropped about 60lbs so the knees were no longer a problem. I got up to 5 miles every other day. Then when the weather go colder we all kind of slouched off and I noticed that I was not loosing anymore.. so I decided to set a goal. I would run a 5k (3.1) miles. I told absolutly everyone...to keep me honest. I joined a gym and I ran my first 5k this past Jan. It also helped with the weightloss. I have now set my sights on a triathlon in June... I just need goals. I also need something to relieve stress that is going on in my life... I have found that I can not change many things in my life but I can do this... Its a new outlook for me. Instead of eating when I am stresses I excercise. It has really worked. I don't have the same pains (not that I don't have pain) I swim 3 xs a week, I bike every other day and I run 6 days a week. But this has been a long journey for me. I did not start where I am today and it took a long time to get my mind to this mind set. I actuallyt feel bad when I am not heading to the gym for my work out. I have made friends there...especially with the trainers so they give me free advice...lol. So start slow and remember this is a journey of a lifetime!

  23. I agree with the rest...your gut tells you a lot about situations...Its instinct and you have to feel compy with someone who is doing somthing so important. Do you know how many things could go wrong with an inexperienced lying surgeon...please be careful.
  24. welcome...congrats!
