nervous something is wrong?
I only have 3 cc's in my band and sometimes I feel restriction and sometimes I don't. I think it just varies by day and like Missy said...you can pretty much everything you did before with a few exceptions. I stick to a 1/2 to 1 cup and go from there.

I have reached my first goal!
I have reached my first goal of getting down to 200 lbs. I have lost 28 lbs in 6 weeks 4 days! I am so excited about my weight loss and I feel great. I can see "onderland" from here! I haven't been below 200 lbs in 10 years and looking forward to that scale at the doctor's office not having to be put on the 200 mark.

? for PCOS women
I was on birth control for maybe 2 months when I was around 19. I didn't like the way it made me feel. On this period, I just bled off and on for about 5 days, very light. I put a call into my OB to make sure it was normal and they said it was unless I kept doing this for a couple of weeks. I stopped on FrIday, so all is good and I just had myself a light period!!! I am so excited. I have also officially lost 28 lbs and have reached my first goal...to be 200 lbs! I hope I have another period again next month, it would be so exciting to be regular like I never had PCOS to begin with. Good Luck ladies!

protein shakes with water????
No, but I mix mine with coconut milk. It is yummy and much better than dairy milk.

Sick, IDK why?
Are you suppose to be eating those types of foods 3 weeks after surgery? I am unsure what kind of meal plan your doctor put you on, but that seems kinda rushing it on the solids. I would call doctor. Hope this helps.

I forgot to mention that I have lost 4 babies, because of the PCOS. Needless to say it is my sworn enemy. To be able to conceive naturally and have no complications would be a dream come true. I will pray for all you ladies!

Yep, completely normal. lol

What to eat when eating out???
I stick with grilled chicken or grilled chicken salads. I love Zaxby's. Outback has a Chicken on the barbie kids meal that is good and I still have plenty of food for leftovers. Ruby Tuesday has a lunch portion shrimp that is awesome, if you can do shrimp. Applebee's french onion soup is great too.

Your welcome. Also, I forgot to mention the popsicle brand fudge pops, they are 40 calories per pop. Get the no sugar added or sugar free though.

CHICKENS HATE ME!!
I have no problems eating chicken or eggs. I only have 3 cc's in my band right now, so it could become a problem after my next fill. I tried a piece of steak that was tender and it went down okay. To be honest I haven't had anything that I couldn't eat so far. No stuck episodes or pbing. Either I am a good chewer or just not enough in the band to cause problems. I guess we will see after my fill on the 22nd.

I'm in the hospital
Congrats!

Is it worth a chance???
Well, there is always hope. I don't guess it would hurt anything. I think the insurance will deny it though with that BMI. Fingers crossed for you.

Congrats! It is a great journey to be in. A lot of lifestyle changes ahead, learn as much as you can before hand. Best decision I have ever made.

Sugar free popsicles are a life saver! They are only 15 calories a pop too. I also like the Fiberone 90 calorie bars as snacks. They have a lot of fiber. If I ever get a sweet tooth, I usually go for the popsicles though.

Self Sabotage after a loved ones death
First if all..I am so sorry for your loss, that is truly tragic. I think everyone on this forum at one point as been an emotional eater. I am for sure. You have came far and I know that you will get right back on track. I would start exercising first. That helps so much with stress and will keep your mind occupied. I would see my doctor again and maybe a nutrition too. I hope this helps and I pray that God gives you comfort during this time of grief.

Not full
I was banded the same day. Do you keep a journal of everything you put in your mouth or log onto myfitnesspal.com? It really does help. Also, make sure you get plenty of protein, that is what helped me when I slumped. Missy is right, I could probably eat more then my portion or what I want, but I eat a cup of food and wait a little while and usually I don't want anymore food. Try measuring out your portions and sticking to that. I hope this helps and I wish you the best of luck. It is gonna work for you! Also, are you exercising? That is my biggest contributor to losing the pounds. You got this!

I feel like crying:'(
I think she is just feeling a little insecure. She probably thinks you won't have anything in common...like food if you lose all your weight. She will come around.
