  1. Yeah they can give me a chart I know that, but the FACT is they're saying two different things with the chart..... They made it a big issue saying how im not having an complications with 7cc....
  2. I was banded March 27 2013. I have lost 10 pounds since then. 3 weeks after my surgery, the nurse told me that my doctor put the large band around my stomach, although he did tell me before surgery that he was going to definetly put the small one because my bmi was only 31. Weighing 167 pounds. Going back to what the nurse was telling me, she also told me he did put some cc's but couldnt confirm how much it was. 2 weeks later which was my monthly check up, I told the nurse that I feel like was in the yellow zone. There was also confusion, a nurse told me that my doctor did put a small band with 7 cc in it! She adjusted my band and put .5 cc and I feel like there is no different. She was surprised I could swallow. But for some reason when I left was upset that my doctos and two different nurses told me two different things. I still feel like Im in the yellow zone. What should I do? My next appointment is May 6.

  4. I was banded on March 27th. I have not been feeling sick since surgery. But I started feeling sick yesterday afternoon after I ate cheese and ham. Than 3 hours later had the smallest amount possible of lasagna and sala. All of a sudden I feel my stomach real sore, like after you do a lot of setups. When I try and take a deep breath my stomach feels like it sore. Since I have got banded the second week I started walking half a mile so you can't say if from sitting down. My symthoms are nauseated, sore stomach, and little appetitie..... HELPPPPPPP!
  5. Hello I was recently banded on March 27. I was just wondering if anybody out there got banded with am BMI of 30 to 34? I just want someone I can relate to especially since I did get banded at 21 yrs,
  6. I went through TR here in San Antonio, I love them. They're very professional & most importantly make me feel special, not just like I'm another patient. They know me on a first basis name. Also I thought going into True Results in the beginning that they wouldn't take me seriously and would give me negative comments considering I'm 21 yrs old and a low BMI of 30.8. But not one comment of discouargement.

  8. Hello, This is my first time posting in the forum. I recently had my surgery on March 27, 2013. My BMI wasn't that high 30.5. I was really undecisive if I should ge the lapband. What made me realize is that I don't want to struggle with my weight for the rest of my life. I'm 21 & have many years ahead. I've tried every diet and I love working out but still struggled. So that's when I decided. I do not regret the choice of getting the lapband. I have already lost almost 7 pounds in 2 weeks. Went from 168 to 161. Of course insurance didn't cover. But like I said I do not regret getting the lapband
