  1. I agree with above you should still be on liquids , call your bariatric DR and get him to run down the post op diet with you , hope you feel better
  2. Than you ladies, I tend to work myself up with what ifs, I'm sure all will be well I tend to get like this before a major life event
  3. Good for you! It's a hard thing to do , say no especially when people keep asking

I am 3.5 weeks from surgery and I'm starting to freak out a bit getting nightmares about choking and not being able to swallow, I have a very long flight home 3 weeks after surgery it's about 8 hours and I'm so afraid I will be sick on the flight. I suppose I am just getting pre surgery panic but boy is it keeping me awake
  5. Campbell's has an organic low sodium that's pretty good
  6. I used to but I haven't really eaten a lot of bread in awhile , my father in-law also French Canadian grew up on bread butter and molasses lol
  7. My mother inlaw , she is a gossip and I only told her because I needed my son taken care of when I go for surgery as my husband will be with me, she is very critical of everyone's weight issues but her own and is a big saboteurs of people who are trying to lose weight
  8. Everyone in my house is sick right now so I gave a call to my surgeons they told me I would be fine as long as I didn't have a fever,maybe a quick call to see what the protocol in their office is
  9. Low fat greek yogurt is so good, we actually use it for just about anything in salad dressings instead of sour cream ext

  11. It's a matter of trial an error I guess , I enjoy a lot of different veggies and fruit and would hate to have to give a lot of them up , I guess we will see
  12. I have basics that are in my info pack like asparagus which I am sad about but just wondering how people are with broccoli or raw carrots ect

  14. Cause you the most trouble with the band? I am not banded yet but getting close and was wondering what a should be more cautious about

When I first started reading the boards I found a lot of the comments harsh , I am not banded yet still a month away, but the more research I do and the closer I get ,the comments I once found harsh make so much more sense to me now and I find myself scratching my head at some of the things people do to themselves, there are slips that people have and there is personal sabotage

  18. I called my Dr and it slim time or ensure with protein no other options so I will make the best of it , the Starbucks is a good idea though
  19. Ok I have been experimenting , made the shake drinkable with a tbs decaf instant coffee and some cocoa powder,
  20. Circular massage on the scar helps that's what my surgeon had me do with my breast reduction , twenty minutes you massage the scar with little circles , my scaring is so faint you can barely see it
