Possible sinus flare up

Hello all,

I have my surgery scheduled for July 3rd, so it's thirteen days away. Sunday I start my 10 day pre-op liquid diet. I'm starting to feel concerned bc I'm coming down with what feels like a very familiar sinus infection. I started mucinex every 12 hours and pushing Water, hot tea and Vitamin C. My question to you is: I'm pretty much in trouble if I have to go on an antibiotic, right? I can't take any NSAIDs or aspirin products starting Sunday. Soooooo, not sure what to do. Thoughts/suggestions?

Maggie

Everyone in my house is sick right now so I gave a call to my surgeons they told me I would be fine as long as I didn't have a fever, maybe a quick call to see what the protocol in their office is

No surgery if fever!

Okay, and I can still take straight Tylenol right? As long as it doesn't have any aspirin in it? I know I can't have any ibpreufen or aspirin.

for the best answer, call and discuss with the surgeon and get their take on what to do or not to do...that is what i would do...hope you feel better soon.
