  8. This is emotional for me. I have never walked my 5 year old to the parked. Instead my skinny neighbor takes him to the park with her twins. I was hurting inside over that. I was short of breath just walking to the mailbox. So off he went with my neighbors. I have 5 boys who are or have been in basketball i would like to try to keep up with even if i ride my bike again and more sports. Become very active live longer and see my 5 year old grow up. The last time family went to Disney world i was left at the Hotel for several of my own reasons. Not again one day I'm going to Disney World. And I will keep up and look good too!
  9. You have done well to recognize that it could be something else. I am 12 days out and I had head hunger twice and I mean i start blending soup there I go only to take sip of my soup and then no longer want it. Now I know that its reflux. So I will continue my Prilosec for that. along with changing my own mind set. Important to talk to your Surgeon and Follow plan. Right now your Small stomach is healing and swollen. It does get easier each day. Congrats
  10. Love the part about the little tummy letting you know that you've been sleeved. I have experience the same thing with Soup thought I was hungry but wasn't im going to try A Prilosec and getting my Protein in.
  11. I'm am 11 days out and Im feel like getting closer to feeling normal. I did attend an sport event, and went to the grocery store. Had some head hunger in which ill try PPI next time for but overall A very great day.

  15. Hi Amy I just bought premier Protein too. But I'm going have to stop or maybe take one per day. im having the same problem. So I ordered unjury chicken flavored protein to go in my Soups. And I will get some more Isopure . My new sleeve tolerated the Isopure. I didn't expect the reaction to premier. Its too sweet tasting too for me, In my opinion. Before surgery I tolerated them. Best of Luck

  18. I am 8 days out and today is a great day! I look forward to each day and small Victories 1 day 1 victory at a time. Like today I was out Shopping no real fatigue. I am learning to listen to my body. Example, My sleeve dose not like tap water so I m using bottled water. Goes down better and no pain. My sleeve also does not like sweet protein drinks even premier protein this week. So back to Syntrax and my sleeve tolerated it, Victory! Each day is getting better and better. I'm learning and loving my sleeve. Nurses, nursing students and nursing assistants you are all Angels and VIP s. Congrats and Good luck.
