So, I know this is a post surgery site, but I have a concern this group might no more about. I think I am going to be approved for the surgery. It has been a fight and I was all gung ho, but now I'm scare this is going to be like every other diet I've had. What if I'm fat again in 2 years? How easy is it to gain back???

So Aetna changed their guidelines for bariatric surgery coverage last month. 3 BP Meds instead of 2. How can it change mid stream. I'm chasing an impossible dream!!!

I have a Bmi of 35. Aetna requires a co morbid condition for a BMI under 40. I have to show a weight for 2 years but do I also have to show the co morbid condition for 2 years? I have high blood pressure but I haven't had it for 2 years. I'm scared because I have done everything including the weight management class. Im scared I will be in vain. Anyone know if u can still be approved if ur co morbid condition is not 2 years old?

What r they looking for with the psych eval?? How can I pass? Fail?

I wear a size 12 wide shoe. I would live to drop a size or 2 after surgery. Has anyone had that happen?
