I was sleeved on the 11th. I am craving all kinds of good foods. I think this is the funeral process. We can have it in due time but in smaller portions I ate baked potato soup from McCalisters

Thank you I'm in Kc

I'm also 3/12. I'm in WA. I get the first surgery of the day. Have to be there at 5am. Woo hoo!!! How are you feeling about it all?

I am excited but scared. I have a lower BMI and many feel I could/should be able to lose without the surgery. I just keep thinking what if something goes wrong???

I understand your concern. I'm a mom of 2 and though my husband is supportive I know he's worried. I just keep telling myself that I'm doing this for all the right reasons. About what people are saying, I have a bmi of 40 but I carry my weight fairly well. People have also told me they thought I could/should do it without the surgery. But, they don't know my struggle. Not in the deep, intimate way that i do. They are saying that on limited info. We have to do what is right for us because this is so personal. We both will do great!

Yeah. Thanks for the encouragement. I know you are right. I think I will feel better when this is all over and all is well.

First post. I'm also March 12. Australian time though so I think I go first lol.

I'm 5am Pacific Standard Time so though I'm the first of the day for my surgeon it's likely you all will be ahead of me. :)

MARCH 12 for me too! I am in Connecticut but I haven't got my surgery time yet. Start the protien sparing diet tomorrow which is only for 5 days but its going to be hard. 3 oz of protein 3x a day, 2 quarts of water and all he sf jello or pops I can eat. I lost 10lbs already this past week on my liquid/ light meal diet. Summer here I come!!

I am March 12th as well! 11:30 MST - I am in CO. Start the all liquid diet on Saturday for 3 days. A bit nervous. I believe we all will do so very well!
