  1. It has been three months and since Monday I have lost a few more pounds so now it is up to 34.5. 20 more to go!
  2. I had my surgery on the 12th. I have lost 32 pounds which is 80% of my excess weight. I have 20 more to go to reach my goal
  3. My dr said that not using straws was old and outdated. He said use them if you want
  4. In Texas we call it coke no matter what the brand!
  5. I have a polar ft4. I love it. Tells how many calories I have burned and my heart rate. It was $90, I have had it for a year and it still works great. I had a friend that bought a cheap one and it didn't work for very long
  6. Before 175 now 151. 7 weeks out. I feel great!!

    Not sure where to post this but here goes I am sick. I am pretty sure I have either severe bronchitis or pneumonia. I have an appt tomorrow. I am positive I will be getting antibiotics. My question is how do I take these big pills? Or do I tell my dr to give me liquid? Thanks
  8. I am right there with you. I have lost 20 pounds and I am at 158. I want to be 120-125. I don't have a definite date for that, it is just my goal. I am 6 weeks out
  9. I tried a kids cheese burger and threw it up! I felt terrible for about 3 hours after I threw up. It was 5 weeks after surgery. I actually only ate 1/3 of it
  10. Smaller than a regular bite. I just stopped craving stuff this week
  11. Great in my mouth, but kind of got "stuck" going down and I could feel it in my stomach for a long time. I'm not even sure that is possible but that's what it felt like
  12. My dr was the same way. I did try a tiny bit of pizza but too scared to do anything else
  13. That's great! You are not going to fail. I had one tiny bite of pizza. My dr has/had me comvinced if I hate any food other than soup for 3 weeks I would have major problem s with the sleeve. I have 50 pounds to lose and now I only have 42! So excited

  17. I'm drinking muscle milk. I'm going to buy some other soups tomorrow and some Popsicles
  18. I'm only going to be off a week. I am a teacher ands one have a choice I have to go back to work on Monday. We have those lovely state mandated tests in two weeks and I have to be there. So spring break was my only time unless I wanted to wait until summer and I want to be skinny by then!
  19. How long are you on liquids post op? My dr said 3 weeks but I was just wondering if anyone's was shorter? Also what are some liquids that you can eat to change things up?
  20. I'm actually doing much better now. I have been moving, very slowly, around and drinking. Thanks guys
  21. I feel like crap. I ended up having a massive hiatal hernia that had to be repaired. I have to go back to work on Monday so I hope I start feeling better

  24. Thanks guys. I have decided against the 5k. The only reason I was going to do it was that it was a color run for a local school and I'm a teacher. Oh well.. Thanks!
