I would like an invite Also. My surgery date is April 17th. On fb I'm under TeRena Colbert and my email is toasted_almond67@yahoo.com- Ready for a new beginning!
I got my surgery date yesterday..... the big day is April 17th! I have my pre op tomorrow and I'm concerned about something... back on March 3rd I was in a bad car wreck and I suffered a few bumps n bruises. Well on my legs were the bruises were I have a small knot on one leg and the other leg its just a lil swollen. So my concern is blood clots. Should i b concerned or am i thinking totoo much into it? I don't want these bruises to set me back so I am going to discuss this with my surgeon tomorrow and hope for the best! I'm really looking forward to getting this conversion to sleeve done. I'm ready for a new, refreshed and healthier me!- Any advice or tips to keep from having saggy or loose skin?
I'm very curious... what is body brushing?

I'm still waiting to get approval to get my conversion to a sleeve, but one of my concerns is the loose/access skin. Is there any way to prevent it or tackle it? Certain exercises or creams or lotions?- Average down time after surgery?
Just don't over do it! Make sure you listen to your body.... sounds like you do quite a bit of physical activity. Good luck to you- Average down time after surgery?

I am in the process of getting a conversion to sleeve from the Lapband and I'm just curious as to how long should I expect to be off work? I work 2 jobs.... so when I got the band I was out for a few days and back at it and I know this is more of an intense surgery. So any and all responses welcome.- #160 lost 1 year post op (w/ pics)
