Ready for a new beginning!

I got my surgery date yesterday..... the big day is April 17th! I have my pre op tomorrow and I'm concerned about something... back on March 3rd I was in a bad car wreck and I suffered a few bumps n bruises. Well on my legs were the bruises were I have a small knot on one leg and the other leg its just a lil swollen. So my concern is blood clots. Should i b concerned or am i thinking totoo much into it? I don't want these bruises to set me back so I am going to discuss this with my surgeon tomorrow and hope for the best! I'm really looking forward to getting this conversion to sleeve done. I'm ready for a new, refreshed and healthier me!

Yay on your date! I'm April 17th as well! I'd definitely check with the dr about the bruising. The bariatric nurse that gave the seminar I attended said that beside a leak they were equally concerned about blood clots. Good luck :)

Just left pre op and doc is scheduling me for an ultrasound on my legs just to b sure but he told me I probably didn't have much to worry about.

Oh good I'm sure that will help ease your mind. Let me know how you make out!
