  13. Nice writing. Very clever, very true.
  14. Hey Amazon... don't sound so offended. Really. I was just saying what is true for me. I had surgery, I've lost 60 pounds in 3 months, I am just being honest about my day. And yes, it was completely possible for me to eat a burger. No need to be "unsure" about anything. No need for congratulations... It's just my story... Glad you aren't tempted by fast foods!!!
  15. First burger since surgery in January. Tasted so good but I'm feeling so guilty. And the sad part is, it was very easy for me to do. ugh....
  16. I make a protein shake out of a mocha espresso protein powder! Blend ice, milk and powder. Tastes like Starbucks frappicino and has 17 grams of protein. Same caffeine as a grande coffee. Love it on my morning commute!
  17. Ya know, I don't even know if I still should be using the CPAP or not! Mine collects dust, too. All I know is, I am happy to not snore. My grandson says,, "Grandma is growling!" LOL!! Maybe he won't have to say that anymore!! :-)
  18. Hi! I can't believe it! I have always been self- conscious about snoring! Have turned down girls weekend get-a-ways just because of that reason. Had sleep apnea and given a CPAP machine before surgery (don't like it). Before surgery, 322 lbs.. Down 30 lbs. Now, waking up with energy I have NEVER had before and NO MORE SNORING!!
  19. Don't worry. I had surgery Jan. 10. My first dr. apt was a week later and I hadn't lost one pound!! Now, after two weeks I am down 20 lbs!! So, just know, it will come off. I also stopped weighing myself every day. It can be obsessing! I waited four days! It was down 13lbs. So hang in there! It's exciting!!! :-)
  20. Okay, I am 6 days out. Surgery on Jan. 10. My belly is as round and hard as a snowman. I gained 10 pounds in the hospital. Was there for 2 nights. No complications. Followed directions. Walked the halls every 3 hours. Even in the middle of the night. Have had horrible left shoulder pain! Have gas, had one bowel movement since surgery after using Miralax. Scale hasn't even gone down!!!! Seriously, this hasn't been so exciting! It's been a PAIN! Can't sleep through the night cause my body is toooo sore! Ugh! How's this for encouragement? Ugh!
  21. Hi all! I am getting up in 5 hours to drive 2, to have surgery at 7:30 a.m. I, too, am nervous, but excited. Tomorrow night at this time I will be sleeved! OMG! Wish me luck!!! Thanks!!!!
  22. mikamae80.... I am the 10th, too! We can do this!
  23. I have surgery on the 10th and only 2 days of liquid diet. Knowing this was coming, I ate so many "last foods" in the last few days, that I feel so guilty!!! What a mental case I am!!
  24. Hi Everyone. I am new here, but I am having my surgery on Jan. 10! Nervous, too, but still excited!
