  2. I was hungry on day 4 on. It was terrible. U will Get thru it. I think it's because I was mourning food. It had been such comfort for so long.
  3. Is anyone post op drinking sodas? What do we know they will do besides put weight back on? Do we know for certain they stretch ur sleeve??
  4. Where do I buy these online? Are they good (tolerable) or taste nasty? I'm having a hard time getting all my protein in.
  5. My pain with vsg wasn't bad at all. Just a little uncomfortable. I was off all pain meds within 48 hrs.
  6. I am 4 weeks post op and I have to eat about every 2 hours to help with hunger. On day 4 post op I got hungry and it lasted for a while. I am still on soft (see my dr and NUT tomorrow) and the hungry is better but I still get hungry as I am not eating very dense foods. If I eat ground chicken or turkey that helps hold me over longer.
  7. I was 4 weeks post op yesterday. I have lost 15 lbs since surgery and total 47 lbs pre and post op together. I have been so lucky with no stall yet. Expecting it anytime but hoping not.
  8. I am getting in around 70-80 g of Protein daily. I am also getting in around 48 oz of Water daily. Sometimes more. I am trying for more but it is just so hard to get it all in!
  9. I am eating dense foods such as ground chicken or turkey and I find that after I eat my 3 oz. it is really hard to try to get any veggies in because I am starting to feel full. Anyone else have this issue? I am worried about only getting in protein and no fruits or veggies which I know I need to help with the big BM.
  10. I am one month post-op today. I have lost a total of 15 lbs since surgery. I weighed 242.6 on surgery day and I weighed 227.8 this morning. I have my one month post-op appointment with my surgeon on Thursday. I am wondering what to expect? Anyone know? I am on the soft/puree diet and I believe they clear for regular food at this time. Also, don't know if my weight loss is slow or not. Feels like it should be more.

  17. I was also sleeved on March 12th and I have lost 12 lbs thus far. My weigh day is not until Tuesdays but I had to peek this morning and the scale said I was down another 3 lbs. I have not had a stall yet but I know it is coming. I did measure myself today and in 5 weeks I have lost 9 inches. My sister was also sleeved on the 12th and she is about 100 lbs heavier than me and she did not lose anything for 3 weeks straight. She finally lost 4 lbs this week.

  19. The first NSV I had this week was walking into the hospital from the parking deck without huffing and puffing and no leg cramping! I used to work in the hospital and even though I walked this three times per week it was a lot harder! The second NSV is that I am 4 weeks post op on Tuesday and I have lost 9 inches total in 5 weeks! So excited!! I am also down 12 lbs thus far but will weigh again on Tuesday as that is my weigh day!
  20. Multivitamin twice daily, Biotin once daily, Iron once daily, Calcium citrate with Vitamin D three times daily, Actigall twice daily (for gallbladder), sublingual B-12 daily, Nexium 40 mg twice daily.
  21. Did they redo her surgery??
