  13. I only took pain meds for the gas pain in my shoulder and that was soluble paracetamol left for a few minutes for fizz to go flat!
  14. I Agree with above post. Very flat coke or lemonade gets me moving quickly. And as your snowed in possibly only thing you may have at home. Plus lots of warmed boiled water! BE careful when you do get a stool softener as some soften the stool high up and starts the spasms to try and go but they haven't softened 'all' of it so can end up more painful. In UK I take something called Lactulose daily which softens all the way through. Or a nice quick relief if you can make it out is Colonic Irrigation. I have had 2 and they make you feel soooo much better and emptier! Good luck x

  18. I was a little shocked after surgery how hungry I was. I was expecting to feel full straight away. I did find after about day 4 the hunger pains and growling subsided though. It's the hard stage. Good luck xx
  19. Oops hit send before I'd finished lol. Yeah it's a weird one as I had it from waking this morning. It eases off after a couple if hours. X
  20. Hi my port is in the centre just below breast bone
  21. Does anyone else get a stitch like pain I. Their left hand side? Had it a lot since surgery in September. Not after exercise usually when I wake up! Not painful just uncomfortable
  22. I find days I'm not active or busy ill still push it with the picking and eating. But listen I'm 46 and I've been overweight most of my adult life so its hard to change a habit if a life time in a few months. I hate myself when I cheat on a few biscuits or crisps but 1 thing I know is that what I eat is not a fraction of what it would have been pre band. The hole pack would have gone! Have you had a fill recently? As I get heartburn for a few weeks after a fill. It's a tough journey and one I don't honk were prepared For here in the UK. Emotions will definitely be up and down, some days I'm ecstatic at what I've achieved then I see others loss and I think why can't I be at that loss. I know we're all different but we always compare x It's good to talk to others who are going through it too x
