  4. Post op laparoscopic shoulder pain is caused by pressure of the gas used during surgery on the phrenic nerve, which connects the stomach and shoulder.....so says my extremely qualified surgeon....gas cannot migrate to the shoulder, the pain in the shoulder is nerve pain...but hey whatever works for you..
  5. I got the gas x strips that dissolve on the tongue, but they were a waste of money...they didn't work on my gas shoulder pain, gas x works for intestinal gas....the only thing that worked was a heating pad. Best Wishes

  8. I gained a pound 2 days ago and that pesky pound is sticking around....there's no way in hell it's fat with what I am eating, so I just have to except that's it's probably water and keep on keeping on....we all want fast weight loss but the reality is, our bodies are gonna do what they are gonna do, so we have to deal with it and keep going. Best Wishes

Insanity is pretty hardcore.....there is a lot of jumping and side to side moving. My husband does it and sometimes I join in but there's no way I can do anywhere near what he does, so I pick and choose the parts I can do. It's like any other exercise program you get out of it what you put it, he has seen amazing results. There's also an insanity diet out there. Best Wishes
  16. It's all about self control right now....many of us could eat more than we should, we have to chose not to. I've had one fill and I could still eat more than I should but I choose not to. Best Wishes

  22. Like CG said, no they don't. My surgeon said seeing as Tricare is a government funded insurance they always follow the same guidelines as Medicare. Medicare and Medicaid have recently added the sleeve to their list of wls surgeries covered and it's just a matter of time before Tricare add it too. My surgeon says he has Tricare patients just waiting for the sleeve to be approved, but he has no idea when that might be....btw Love my band!
