  7. I completely agree with you Cheryl....I too only have 1 fill and 3 cc's in my band...if I didn't control myself I could eat a lot more than I do and I wouldn't have lost the weight I have. I understand that everyone is different and we all have to do what works for us...
  8. I have so much respect for Military members and their spouses ~ so thank you! I would go back to basics, 1 cup portions, high protein, healthy fresh foods, lots of water and tracking your food on something like myfitnesspal....You can do it

  10. I was banded December 17 th 2012....so almost 6 months ago...I've had 1 fill for a total of 3 cc's, I didn't do a pre op diet and I've lost 89 lb's. I know it's hard not to compare our own weight loss to others but were are all different and we all lose at different rates..Best Wishes everyone
  11. I was told I could shower, but no baths, hot tubs or swimming for 3 weeks, every doctor is different so I would check with yours..Have a great vacation
  12. I had glue on my stitches...I left mine alone and it eventually came off by itself..

I can relate ~ my husband is Military also....I would ditch the boxed meals and track your food on something like myfitnesspal, make sure you get at least 60 gms of protein and drink a lot of water...if you aren't exercising start out by walking. But don't give up, you can do it....Best Wishes
  14. I love my scale...it keeps going down! Seriously though, I have a Taylor digital scale, it does all kinds of neat things, I bought it from Walmart many years ago and it's still going strong..

  18. Right now I can eat anything..., I'd be devastated if I couldn't eat salad...I love it! I've only had one fill and I have 3 cc's in my band, with little to no restriction
