  3. At this stage you need to control yourself...just like being on a diet. Many people need many fills to reach restriction....you need to do your part in order to be successful. Best Wishes

  6. There are lots of outlet stores here in Vegas, I love it but my bank account...not so much!

  10. All 4 of my children know, they are 7, 9 ,14 and 18. There was no reason at all for me to keep this a secret from them, I don't keep anything from them, they support me 100%. I don't care what anyone thinks about my having had the surgery, if you have something to say, "bring it" is what I say....If and when you tell your children I'm pretty sure they'll have a positive reaction to the information and keep it to themselves if you stress that that's what you want...Best Wishes

  12. My doctor's fine with chewing gum...I quit swallowing it years ago
  13. I'm a gum chewer...keeps my mouth busy, my husband would argue that my mouth is always busy talking though
  14. My hernia was diagnosed a year before my band surgery, I was seeing an ENT doctor for a constant sore throat and he sent me for a barium x-ray, I never did have the typical burning you get with reflux though...My surgeon fixed the hernia during my banding and I got to go home 5 hours after surgery

    What you're experiencing is very normal....you must stick to the soft foods when it's time to eat them to let your stitches heal..You can do it!, if you feel the urge to cheat or eat solids before your time, get on here and read or send me a message...YOU CAN DO THIS! (:
  19. Well thank you!! I track everything I put in my mouth, no heavy exercise, I just walk my dog 7 days a week, I drink Water like it's going out of style and I eat very little processed food. But I want to be healthy so bad that I will not let myself deviate from my plan even a bit...Best Wishes PrettyThick Beanie~I think the one visit request is the way to go! I wish you luck

I paid $150 for the one pysch visit that was required...I had a referral and it was covered by my insurance but I couldn't find anyone in my network that would do it, so I paid myself...$800 seems outrageous to me....I hope you can either go somewhere else or get that amount reduced some how...Best Wishes
