1. I feel the same way, I want to go up and tell them they do not have to be miserable anymore.....there are options, but this would be the worst thing anyone could ever say to someone who is MO! If anyone told me that I should consider wls I would have been so depressed I would have gained more weight! If there is a way to help people....I would love to do it, but I have not figured that out yet! And just so you know....the Cowboys are good but the Patriots are going to win the super bowl!!!!
2. You have to go with the size 8 just because....ITS AND 8!!!! Do it for all of us size 8 wannabee's!
3. That is hysterical!!!!
4. I am so happy for you!! (We are bandsisters). You have lost so much, you must feel so great.....onderland will be here before you know it and you will never look back! Well Done!
5. I do not drink but the Oprah show is addressing this issue on Friday. People who have had wls and have new addictions. JSYK
6. Good for you!!! I am right with you at 58 this morning, 60 will be a big milestone for me! Keep doing the happy dance....it burns calories!!! I will dance with you!
7. Good for you!!!!! Both of you!!!
8. I heard her mention that they found she has a thyroid problem. It was on the show with the all the weight loss winners. She did not say anything else about it though.
9. Great Job.....and it only gets better, keep the tissues handy!
10. I am not sure why that did not post the way I intended....Here goes again. Name Start Current Goal To Go Metalband 173 173 163 10
11. Anybody need to get moving as much as I do??? How about trying another challenge?

Name Start Current Goal To Go Metalband 173 173 163 10
12. I went to NY City yesterday with my DD and could walk and walk and walk!! I could also bob and weave through the crowds that I never would have been able to do before! It was sooo much fun!
13. I do not want to change your mind about asking your doc but I had the same thing happen to me. I pulled a couple of stringy stitches out and everything was fine. Good Luck
14. I too am much colder than ever!!! I just read in The Readers Digest that sometimes low carb diets can cause you to feel cold!!!! That may be the answer but whatever it is.....cold is better than carrying all that weight around!
15. That is supposed to say that the old ME is back!! I had to type fast and get off the computer because my husband came home.....he thinks I am addicted to LBT, he may be right!
16. I had both, two weeks apart. I have to say the band was slightly more uncomfortable and it took a little longer to bounce back but not much. I do not want to worry you because even if the band is 1000 times worse, it would still be worth it!!! Good luck with you band, you will not regret it! Okay you will for about three days when you get hungry on liquids but thats it. For the rest of your life you will be grateful!!!
17. I agree with you....I had listed on an NSV thread somewhere that my house is so much cleaner. No more dust bunnies or being able to write things in the dust. I have cleaned out closets and made more space for things. I love my band too (except for the dreaded vomit episodes but hey at least the toilet is clean). It is like a dream world. I cannot believe that the old is back!
18. Yes, I too can feel my hip bones...they still have some padding on them but they are under there. I found it yesterday when I was standing with my leather binder sort of resting on my hip. I was in a customers office. They were talking to me and I was not listening at all, I just wanted to say "feel this..its a hip bone"!!! That wouldn't have been good!
19. Today I looked in the mirror and had to look again because there in the mirror was the first sign of.......collar bones!!!!! Not totally visible but a slight hint!!!
20. I have only lost 2 lbs in 18 (yes 18) days and that is not enough. I need to work harder!
21. Neveragain, You need to think about this as health, not vanity. The all you can eat pizza is the road to bad health not bad vanity. I feel for you because sometimes I fell the same way but for me (much older than you) I think about wanting to live longer. Good Luck.....you can do this!
22. 50 lbs was a big deal for me ( I am only at 56 now). It was such a huge milestone, I did the happy dance all day!!! Good for you, just think about 50 lbs of butter gone for good!
23. Chris... Great job on the weight loss! Good luck in Iraq. I had my lapband done at a teaching hospital in Boston (part of Harvard Medical) anyway there was a doctor that was doing his fellowship and assisted in putting in my band, he was also in the military and wore his uniform in the hospital. He left the hospital to be deployed to Iraq. I know this is a long shot but there is at least one doctor in Iraq that has done fills!!! I would suggest not getting a fill or an un-fill. If what you have now is working. I would just wait it out, you do not want any complications over there. Again....best of luck!
