  1. I agree this time is for healing not for weight loss. Try staying away from the scale for a while.
  2. I agree doesnt matter what time of day as long as its around the same time. Also be careful about weighing yourself too much. If you choose to weigh often you have to be prepared to deal with your body fluctuations.
  3. Walk as much as you can until your doctor gives you the go ahead to do more. You do not want to cause complications.
  4. I am 4 years out and I still get that pain in the back on my left shoulder some times. The best thing when this happens is to move. Walk around. Also sometimes gas-x will help. Hang in there.
  5. Hang in there Cedri you are still just in the beginning of healing.
  6. I eat usually no later then an hour before I wrk out then a protein shake with half frozen banana and some natural (nothing added) peanut butter. I had that at around 11:30 and eating a lite high protein lunch now in the afternoon. It doesn't erase my hunger but seems to dim it a lot. Its 3:20 now so not sure how I will feel about dinner yet. This morning I did not eat before hitting gym and I could tell my band was tighter from drinking my water. It is all so confusing to me.
  7. I am finding that now I have started the gym every day I am not hungry very much. Not complaining. Anyone else?

  9. Coffee mate sugar free as I believe 15calories a tablespoon. I love my dcaf but I would never ever use a big chunk of my calories on it. Sometimes I make a cup of coffee and use it for the liquid in my protein shake.

  11. Whhooooot!! Let us know if we can help you with the problems.
  12. You need to ask your doctor or nutritionist for this information. I had all the info from my doctor way before my sugery. Maybe read through some of your old information.
  13. Just curious what are you eating? Are you still doing protein shake? Might need one lactose free?
  14. My doctor told me not to eat popcorn and besides that its one of those things that are hard to stop eating.
  15. I can feel my port for sure. The more I lose the more I can feel it. It is normal.

  18. I find the healthier I eat the healthier I want to eat.
  19. I have heard that your body can absorb only a certain amount of Protein. You might want to check with your nutritionist if you have not already. It is an additional. 110 calories you are adding plus anything else you add to shake. I add half frozen banana and a heaping tbls of natural Peanut Butter made from only peanuts nothing else added and a cup of 30 calorie vanilla unsweetened almond milk. Two scoops wild not be nutritional for me. Just a thought I may be wrong. I am very glad to know that you like the shake. It is so hard to find the right one,
  20. I can not imagine eating 1/4 cup of food. I eat 1/2 cup. Are you sure doctor did not mean 1/4 cup protein? I would really get back in touch with doctor as well as the doctor's nutirtionist.
  21. Can you share any before and after pictures?
  22. I have no answers or suggestions. I just hope you get better soon and get to keep your band. Please keep us posted!
