  1. You know, it just bothers me. In my humble opinion, only the strong survive. If some retard wants to do something stupid enough to get them killed, whether intentional or not, let them do it. Who cares. The world was better off without them anyway. Think I'm a heartless a-hole? Fine. It's my .02
  2. Make no mistake. I, personally, have been egged while running down a path. I know what you mean. lol.
  3. Granted, I've never met the guys you know, but I'll tell you that I would generally disagree with that statement as a whole. I would say that may partly be true, but we are the ones who LET OURSELVES get treated like shit. I get treated differently because of my newfound confidence in what I say and how I walk around. I really, really want you to know that QUALITY guys are NOT going to look at you just because you've lost a significant amount of weight. You have to develop the confidence that comes with it. Take what I've said with a grain of salt, but that's my .02. Good luck on your journey!:biggrin1:
  4. I promise you that you will ruin the feelings you have if you rush into it. Wait till your head and heart are ready. Coming from a 22 year old guy, take it as you will, but I've rushed into things entirely too many times. Take my advice, wait till you're ready.
  5. Proof only means something to those with the brain power to process said evidence of stupidity. That's it. We need population control. Who's with me? lol. Tests every few years. If you're on a long-standing downward spiral, you're done. Not proactive? Hmmmmmm. Done. But then people would only work just hard enough to not die. hmmmmmmm. I have to admit, though, living is pretty good incentive? Yes?
  6. I can't thank you guys enough for all of your support and nice things that you said. Believe me, I know I'm young. haha. I hear it all of the time. Lauren, you are SPOT ON. I could not have described the feeling any better than that. The best way I can describe how I'm feeling right now is like the fat kid that no one listens to. It's really demoralizing. I know that this feeling will pass and then I'll get on the right mental track again. It's just a matter of time.
  7. Bad monkey, no banana. haha.
  8. I completely agree. Give this guy a medal! :clap2:
  9. I got a nice little chuckle out of the last little bit of your reply. lol. I hate "playas". I really just want someone to keep me company without the pressure of a necessary marriage commitment 3 years down the road. I have entirely too much to do before I settle down, too. lol. You're right. I'm not looking for an EXTRAVAGANT car. I just want a nicer car than I have now. An early 2000's 325i or 328i is relatively inexpensive and serves the purpose. I guess that I'm just tired of always being looked down upon and being ruled out...oh well, one day, huh? Oh, and I'm at U of A. I'm still pre-med.
  10. I did actually take a picture before, but it's really crappy. I need to take more!!!!!!!
  11. Unless otherwise noted, yes. Obviously, if I have a test or something like that, I won't be able to, but really doubt that I will.
  12. The only thing you have to keep in mind is that a lot of US doctors will not see you if you had your surgery done in Mexico.
  13. Oh, and I think the pineapple juice works well because it is EXTREMELY acidic.
  14. Take this for what you will, but perfection is in the imperfection. Fake boobs that look like they were drawn on definitely don't have the same wow effect, but hey that's my opinion.
  15. I have to admit, I was a bit curious at first, but whatever works. lol. I can take a big gulp of any liquid and get it through, but that's me.
  16. Splenda is basically glucose with a bunch of alcohols binded to it so the enzymes that break down glucose don't recognize it, therefore it won't get digested.
  17. Let me rephrase that whole jealousy part. I am very envious. I feel no malice towards my parents or sister at all. I love them very much and I'm incredibly proud of them. Oh, and when I said crappy japanese cars, I was more referring to sub 2001 Honda, Nissan, Toyota, and the like. Not so much their sister companies. Have you seen the new G37? mmmmmmm.
  18. If you have any questions about banding in mexico, PM Wasabubblebutt. She had hers done in mexico.
  19. ...because they've been so supportive, but for some reason, right now I feel very bitter. I know that deep down, I couldn't ever truly feel this way because it's all on me. I see the rest of my family and what they've accomplished and I couldn't be more envious. Most of my family were in prestigious greek houses. All either graduated with honors or are on their way. My dad is an ivy league grad who is a doctor. No matter what I do, I can't get out of the shadow of my dad. Not that I wouldn't want to follow in his footsteps, but I just don't like being compared to him. I hate when people look at me and then look at my family and then say, "What the hell happened to John?", which I get ALL OF THE TIME by my dad's friends. I am SO ANGRY at myself for making the choices that I have. I want to be a leader. I want to be attractive. I want to be able to carry a room with conversation. I want to be that person that people come to when they have an issue with something. I'm so tired of being single. I want to be able to approach a woman I don't know and spark up an interesting conversation and have them want to go out with me. I'm so tired of driving these crappy loud japanese cars that are for 16 year olds. I need a newer BMW. Why didn't I just buckle down during high school and get my stuff done. I could have gone to U of A straight out of high school. I wanted to get into SAE like my dad. Yes, I know. I'm vain and materialistic, but I feel like I'm giving some people the wrong impression of who I really feel like I am inside. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH I apologize. I'm just having a very "dammit" kind of day. I hate feeling this way. I feel demoralized. It's not like I'm not taking steps to remedy the situation, but I still just...ugh. I feel like crying and I never cry. I should not feel this way.
  20. Ok I will always be the fat kid, which translates to the odd one out in my family. Let me give you an idea: Father: Doctor. MIT grad with honors. Sigma Alpha Epsilon (Very prestigious fraternity) Tuffs Medical School grad. Very athletic. Mother: Was a head nurse at a hospital. U of A grad with honors. Blonde bombshell. Social Butterfly. Sister: Full Academic scholarship to U of A. Pi Beta Phi (Very prestigious sorority) Absolutely gorgeous. Then there's me. I never got a scholarship. I really doubt I'll ever get honors in anything. I've never been super attractive. I've always had to struggle to make myself social. I am the ugly duckling. I know, waaaaah, but sometimes I just need to vent. I know what you mean.
  21. It all comes down to personal preference. If you get banded by mexican doctors, most US doctors won't accept you as a patient. Just keep that in mind.
  22. Having been in the automotive industry for a while, I know EXACTLY what you mean. I have met so many mind-numbingly stupid people. Can we get a mandatory minimum IQ test before these people are allowed to reproduce? Is that so much to ask?
  23. I couldn't have asked for a better all around doctor. Period. HIGHLY recommended.
