Picture Page
Here's a few random pictures. That lake is Canyon Lake, just outside of Tortilla Flat, AZ. The three guys are my riding buddies that I went with that day. That beautiful girl is my friend Megan on the way up to Canyon Lake. The other picture is me on my bike a few months ago.

Girls: After you lost weight do strangers give you more attention?
I just have to say that there are some times that I'm ashamed to be associated with the seemingly brain dead male population. I can't say that I can ever relate to feeling like a piece of meat, per say, but I have been in at least one relationship that ended because of my weight, so I kind of got the other end of the stick, I suppose. I'm not going to sit here and say that every woman I've ever looked at, I was wondering if she wanted to be friends, but I CAN say that I've never rudely whistled or yelled at an unsuspecting woman. It's just useless and tasteless. Please don't take this as I'm putting myself on a pedestal. I've done stupid things in my life just like everyone else. I'm just agreeing with the girls that say that some guys are neanderthals. I'm just happy I was raised to treat women with respect...

Ponder this...
I was going to put a whole thing about how love is, simply, a chemical reaction and, make no mistake, it may very well be. Why, though, would I want to put all stock in that? I don't know. I'm bitter. Now, to more specifically answer your question about what I think: I think that love can be felt by one person, but I think that it intensifies if both involved parties felt the same.

What to Do
I'm going to play the devil's advocate on this one...I'm not sure I blame him for such a conservative fill, mostly because he doesn't know how the patient will react to a small fill, mind you an aggressive one. I think I'm on the doc's side for this one...

Seriously, can one of the mods do something about this spam crap? I don't mean to be overly pushy, but come on...

Do you have problems with protein bars?
I haven't, yet, had any problems, but I'm sure that a PB is not out of the realm of possibility.

The Biblical Case for Pro-Choice & Stem Cell Research
Ok, look, people: There are a few types of stem-cells: Adult Progenitor, aka satellite cells "Cord Blood" Embryonic - THIS IS THE ONE THAT EVERYONE IS SO ABOUT. There is VERY little promise in embryonic, MOSTLY due to the fact that the cells are just too "primordial" or biologically indifferent to really make a decision on what to be. The stem cells that we get out of cord blood is the most promising. It is not as "primordial" and is more apt to repair and adapt. Adult Progenitor cells, or better known as satellite cells are in the human muscle cells that repair breaks or partial tears in muscle tissue. THERE. Now, go fight about nothing. Stem cell research is great and will save the human race one day. Now, quit bitching and get informed. I'm might do a degree in this stuff. It's fascinating.

This forum is dangerous
Truly, there are two things that caught my attention with this "post". Allow me to outline: 1. A previous member of MENSA and IQ of over 150, just brainstorming here, should be able to spell "fascinated", among many other words. 2. We're all happy for you that you like wine, are claiming to be a part of an elite group that constitutes the top 2%, and didn't intend to lecture anyone, but I'm going to let you in on a little secret. Promise me that you won't tell anyone? Pinky swear? Good. No one cares. I could go on, but I assume once you put your tail between your legs and can be humble among us mere mortals, you'll let us know. Side note: You were the straw that broke my bad day's back, if you wanted to know why I'm so grumpy.

Moderation is the key. This is true. Personal preference, though? NO fast food or VERY sparingly.

Lost Some Weight Still Ugly /Rant
I have my "fat" days and my "skinny" days, but I, too, can't take a compliment. Why? I have no idea.

A thread for Single Bandsters
Well, that girl that I mentioned in a previous post that I thought was perfect for me said that she was ready to go back out with me until some falling out with her roommate (female) happened. Somehow there's some other guy that's fitting in here. Not really happy about that. So, now I'm getting the bat to both sides. She's seeing someone else AND she's not thinking about getting back together again. I've been seeing other girls on and off since we broke up, but they've all been for not, thus far. I'm just really pissed because we would be a really good couple. I think we both see it, too. See, here's the kicker, now. I want to stick around and wait to find out what she wants to do, but I'm trying to be her friend and now that I know that something else is going on, I'm not quite so eager. Yes, I know. There's a million fish in the sea and I shouldn't be worrying so much about one girl, but I'll tell you that there's just something about her that I'm absolutely smitten with and I can't get over it... Help?

Any Younger Bansters Here?

Imus show suspended due to racial comments
No, no, YOU have got to be kidding me. Have you seen admission demographics for major universities, heard of affirmative action, read the newspaper, or stepped out of your shelter in the last, oh, 5 or 6 years compared to 15-20 years ago? Didn't think so. Your nieve optimism is appreciated, but sorely mistaken.

I am new here.
I did my research of doctors in Tucson, as well. I actually know most of the doctors personally from long time family connections and I'll tell you the drive up to Phoenix is actually worth it.

Imus show suspended due to racial comments
You don't think that I have to fight stereotypes? You are SADLY, SADLY mistaken. Oh, and overprivelidged...hahaha. You, my dear, are very, very uninformed. When it's easier for a white male to get into college than a black, mexican male or any foreign race, let me know. Plus, how can you automatically assume I came from a upper-class family. Is it because of my more conservative views? Methinks you have some learning to do about making stereotypes.
