I have two weeks of liquids two Protein shakes n one healthy meal a day

Found out today Dr Reily will be my doctor as well. Cindy is my Patient Advocate and I had my blood work, EKG, and the test well I had to blow through the tube. I think it was to check my lungs. They all have to be cleared but the young lady who did my two test said they look really good. I've never had health issues so I'm sure I will be cleared by next week. My EGD is scheduled for Oct 25 and surgery will be on the 29th as long as my test n blood clear next week. How long was the EGD test? Sent from my iPad using LapBandTalk

Had my consultation today. Had blood work and EKG done as long as everything comes back normal next week I'm scheduled for Oct. 29 with a 2 week liquid diet. So excited this is will a fast process, only going this fast because I am self pay. So I don't have to go through all of the extra testing.

I think I saw that on my paper also. Can you tell me where you purchased your from? WOW 8 days in and down 13lbs that is GREAT!!!! when are where are you having your surgery?

I'm about to start my pre op yayyyy!!!! But I have to buy my protein shakes has anybody had any of these: Isopure, Protein shots, Labrada lean body, IDS Sports New-Whey, Worldwide Sport Pure Protein, Myoplex, BSN Syntha, Natures Best Zero Carb Isopure, Myoplex Lite, Whey Isolate Protein. Give me ur input

So by being self pay you think you will be able to have the surgery that fast? I'm self pay and I go have my consult tomorrow and I hope I can have mine the first of November. Where are you having your surgery? With self pay did you have to do the sleep apnea, and meet with nutritionist and all the other stuff insurance people had to do? I know the blood work yes because I'm having mine done tomorrow.

Where r u having ur surgery? And my insurance is not paying so I hope to know a lot by Friday when I get there.

Can anyone tell me what will happen or be said during my individual consult that I am having at True Results? Will I find out that day if I qualify for the surgery? Will I find out when I may be able to have the surgery? My insurance does not cover the surgery, but I am hoping I have a hernia will I still have to see a nutirtionist, and do the sleep apnea test? I guess I just want to know steps on what I should at expect at my consultation on friday, and will I be able to walk out with a surgery date?

I have my consultation Friday Sept. 21. I can barely wait to get there.

I will be traveling out there on Friday for my blood work, I wonder if I can have my EGD done also. I will be traveling 4 hrs so I am trying to have as much done in one day as possible. Did you have to have your blood work done before you had your EGD done?

wow!!!!!! i'm sorry to hear that because sadly I am in the same situation I haven't had my test done yet, but I am praying that I have one. But either way I am going to have it done, but it will be sooo much better if I do have the hernia. Where were/are you having your surgery?
