If I was her I would try to stay sleep until time to get up and get dressed to leave. Because I'm sure she will be looking at the clock all day!!! God bless u guys!!!!!

I'm self pay so I didnt have to do the sleep study, n evaluations. I just had blood work, EKG, and being checked for hiatial hernia. my surgery is 11/5. Had consultation on 9/21 and was cleared on 9/28. Start pre op on 10/22 have been kinda training myself this past week I did two Protein shakes a day and a sensible dinner which is what my diet will consist of. @vmarlau I was cleared for surgery found out on Friday. I actually ended up changing my dates due to making sure I have someone home with my kids since I will be out of state so I have my EGD to check for hernia on 11/1 and surgery is scheduled for 11/5. Hernia or not I'm still having the surgery so either way it go I will be having the surgery on 11/5. Sent from my iPad using LapBandTalk

So when you had your surgery what did you tell your job when you took off? That's what I'm having issues with finding a way to tell my boss. I think I'm having the hernia repair so I was going to tell my boss I'm having a hernia repair, but then I'm having my surgery in another state so when I return with my doctors excuse they may wonder and ask why did I have to go to another state to having my surgery. I don't want anyone judging me. I'm only trying to lose about 60-65 lbs and a lot of people will try to say I'm a cope out I could have lost that on my own. Do you really like the Optifast how much was it and where did you get it from? My fear is losing so much during my pre op n they tell me I no longer qualify

I was going to say the same thing, but people r so nosey they might try to look at my excuse and say why are you going out of state for a hernia repair and then try to google the name of the hospital. Crazy

Actually decided today to move my date to Nov 5 . Conflict with kids schedule at school. Didn't want to but it will work best with getting a babysitter since I'm traveling out of state for surgery.

So when you went out for surgery what did you tell you job? I don't want anybody at my job to know. Not even my boss
