Seminar Was Tonight....

I learned a great deal about weight loss surgery. Still very much interested in the lap band, Now I have to wait for a consultation call, the Dr said we should get the medical necessity letter from the pcp while we wait. I found out my BMI is actually 53, so scary!! I just want to process to move quickly

It will move fast enough. Educate yourself as much as possible before the actual surgery.

I was in a hurry 6mths ago to get the ball rolling, but looking back I really didn't know as much as I needed to do this successfully.

I read somewhere that all this information comes at you so fast that you don't have time to absorb it. It really does!

Spend time on this forum and read everything you can about the band. You'll be ready when the time is right.

Good luck on your WL journey!

Good luck!
