4. hey guys! december 6th i will be one month post op. my co worker told me to take a before and after because she can already see the difference lol. i decided to wear the outfit from before surgery. so here it is!! so exciting
5. Wow my surgery was Nov 6th and I've been fine until today. All day everytime i got up i had to hold my left side. Its not even the big one where they pulled my stomach out. Its a tiny one and their all fully healed. My tiny incision aches if i push down on it on the left side. I have been going to the gym everyday and i used a machine where you swivel your body from side to side. I probably shouldn't have but i love it cuz it helps crack my back. Anyways Thx for the thread i will call my doc tomorrow. Sent from my Samsung G2 using VST
6. it was fully steamed it went down pretty good. i cut it up into tiny pieces. i honestly got more salmon in than the broccoli
7. So i bought this piece of salmon from work today. For lunch in our caf they do some entree specials. It took me all day to finish it and shared some with my daughter lol Sent from my Samsung G2 using VST
8. wow we are in the same boat. congrats to us! i went back to work last friday it was fun! everyone is like oh wow look at u with ur clothes hanging off. lol i am so happy and excited. i seriously cannot get the protein in. i just intake as much as i can and keep hydrated no matter what. i think everyone is different but we are doing good have u been going to the gym
9. feeling amazing my mushy puree stage is going good but i have trouble with chicken. for some reason not sure why but it is my favorite. turkey and cheese go down good. i got the turkey thinly sliced from the deli. i am still struggling to find a nice Protein shake daily. ive spent so much money trying to figure it out lol i just wanted to post and share my thoughts so far. i am very happy and grateful for the sleeve! ive been in the gym everyday and i can already fit a pair of shorts that would not go up or button for the past 5 months! unfortunately i got dumping yesterday from eating half a banana and a pear. all before 11:30am. right when it hit noon lunch time at work i was SO sick. i now know all the natural sugars in those fruits are no good for me. my body could not handle it. i havent been on the scale in a while but i already feel and see the difference in my body. not my face too much yet. i have pics 2 share Before sugery 3 week post op pictures so far
10. 2 weeks post op. no pictures but i can give you a run down of my day i usually start with tea but had a doctor appointment so no time this morning. 1 string cheese.(Protein 6g) 8oz of crystal light i then had 7 crackers and was full. came home and a greek yogurt with 14g of protein (5oz cup) couldnt finish it. took a nap and had the last half of my 32g Protein shake. later on in the night i had 1 scrambled egg with bits of ham in it....(got stuck) so i wont be trying that again for a few days.
11. i requested 3 weeks off. but i was perfectly fine by day 7. so i am going back this friday (im craving the double time and a half for holiday) sleeved nov 6th
12. i know how you feel. i went through the same thing. and my biggest critic was my MOM who is a registered nurse. she would text me EVERYDAY with diet tips and give my phone number to herbalife people and they would call me stalking leaving voicemails about how the surgery is deadly bla bla bla. but guess who was there for me the entire time? my MOM! lol she had my daughter while i was in the hospital and she has turned around been my number 1 support system. everything happens for a reason and we are all guided into this path on purpose you will succeed and dont let the haters bring you down! i am so happy and confident with my decision (i did doubt it the first 4 days post op) but now i wouldnt change a thing!

16. I had my 2 week post op appointment today with my surgeon. it went really well. he said i can now graduate officially to Stage 2 of the diet and I will be on that for the next 4 weeks I decided to the post the foods i'm allowed just in case anyone else is that the same stage in their journey as me. we can share and compare! Double bonus of the day: I exchanged a pair of pants that got a hole in them and in return got 3 new shirts and another pair of pants. Woohoo!!! According to my Surgeons scale i was 312 day of surgery ( i honestly don't think they weighed me) because my PCP's scale and my scale at home said 307. I think they went off my pre op weight appointment. Today I was 294. So my surgeon says i've lost 18 since surgery and I cant argue but I'm not going by his numbers lol. Foods I am Allowed at 2 Weeks out. Protein- Fat Free or low fat cottage or ricotta cheese Fat free or low fat artificially sweetened yogurt-vanilla,key lime pie, lemon chiffon or orange cream sugar free fat free pudding Tofu- eggs, egg whites, eggbeaters (proached, scrambled or soft boiled.) Canned baby meats/pureed meats Sliced/shredded fat free or low fat cheese Canned/vacuum packed tuna, salmon or chicken Baked fish that flakes easily with a fork (cod, salmon tilapia, crab meat) thinly sliced lean deli turkey breast or ham lean ground beef pork or turkey Fruits- banana Unsweetened applesauce diced peaches or pears canned in own juice or light syrup Veggies- soft cooked carrots, green Beans, broccoli, cauliflower tomato juice or veggie juice Starches/Other Soup, cream of brocc (avoid corn, peas noodles rice and pasta) mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes or winter squash saltines, soda crackers toast (very odd this is on there) *may add nonfat dry milk powder or Protein powder to foods and beverages to increase protein content.which i plan on doing woohoo!!! i am feeling great wnt to the gym 3x this week and have been cleared to do weights just can't lift them. hope everyone is happy and feeling good <3

19. amanda. i am 2 weeks post op and i honestly felt the same way as you at first. especially because i have my 2 year old and it was a struggle at first but i already feel so much happier and better every single day! going to the gym now completely healed not sore. i am able to keep liquids down with no nausea and ive watched my friend go through the same surgery and same thing. she looks soo amazing now and its great that she can eat whatever she wants just in tiny portions and protein first. i know how hard it is but in due time..you will honestly feel so much better. just wait it out and you have your husband for support so use that good luck to both of us give it a few more days a guarantee you will feel so much better. i thank this site for helping me. i would seriously get on here at 3am venting in the chat room and everyone gives so much motivation and positive reinforcement. we are all here for you!!! be strong.
