  1. ok so this kinda happened to me but not fully. there was a delay in submitting me because of the confusion of what surgery i wanted. the surgery date is tentative so it can be changed in the system. they should have no issues with still doing your surgery on that day esp because your surgeon probably does all 3. it really is just a matter of your info being resubmitted under a different authorization code. as long as your insurance covers the sleeve you should have no problem. based on your case your surgical coordinator should even be able 2 call insurance directly and have your case expedited you should be fine. i would not worry,. so...with that being said CONGRATS! lol
  2. i was feeling the same way as you and went searching on youtube:) heres what i found. hope it helps.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ndkZudte6J0&feature=plcp

  4. newly sleeved. thank you so much for the insight, well written lol. <3 now my office says they want us eating 3 meals a day thats it. no snacking. im guessing the water fluids in between meals are sufficient to keep us full until solid food is due again. hoping
  5. thank you, im a bit slow this morning i didnt realize EAS was its own brand LMAO!
  6. i hear you. i got the list from my surgeons office and go by what they have on there. im excited 2 get me some Isopure for sure on thursday. i finally got to sleep all night with no hunger pains. getting excited for the future. and dropped 3 pounds in one day. insane!!!
  7. are you talking about the atkins? i buy the pre made strawberry and vanilla ones. i cant afford anything else right now until payday lol. i cant wait 2 try the isopure's they look tasty lol. atkins only has 15g per shake but still better than none. i try 2 drink at least 2 a day even tho i am SUPPOSED to get 60 g of Protein in. i am trying honestly
  8. im sorry to hear! at least they are still doing your surgery you can still enjoy your food and shrink your liver and lose tons of weight while doing so! GLAD you are off the mds. chicken and fish taste.so.GOOD! use your seasonings (and judgement) and make a nice stir fry. with low carb veggies. broccoli is my FAVORITE. i miss food so much! i am on liquids until the 21st so i feel your pain. but you can still enjoy your good just wicked healthy choices. fill up on that protein instead of pasta carbs and rice. good luck to you hope surgery is nice and smooth and successful for you!!!

  11. i thought this was a mental thing too until the pain woke me up in the middle of the night. actually its been the past 3 nights since i been home from the hospital. a few nights i got nausea from the pain. had sips of Protein Shake went back to bad. tonight i tried crystal light 2 sips of protein shake and still not feeling satisfied and tried going back to sleep only to keep experiencing the 'hunger pain'. i know its not my head because i dont want to consume anything at all! i will try some sugar free Jello and try 2 get my ass back to bed lol just confused....

  15. I was sleeved on the 6th and I'm on liquid only for 2weeks I am too scared to cheat and I'm struggling getting all my Protein in because I'm so full. I can no longer tolerate flavored Water so crystal light (room temp) and warm tea have been saving me. I'm hitting the gym tomorrow for some light cardio. I'm going crazy staying home. My baby is at daycare all day and I still have 2 more weeks off work. My brother is getting married this weekend so the challenge is going to be seeing the amazing platters and turning away LOL My dad offered to make some amazing soup for me that he will strain. I crave and miss seasoning The regular broth gives me nausea. Other than that I am happy to feel restriction from liquids, I just miss being able to chew. The 19th I can start mushies. Can't wait! !! Good luck to u hope your journey stays smooth! Sent from my Samsung Admire using VST
  16. did you surgeon explain the risks of your liver being too large for surgery? although i cheated a few times, it was only with high protein things, no carbs or real sugar. i always kept the thought in the back of my mind of my surgery being completely open which scared me into eating good. it is challenging but it is a great boost, i lost 12 pounds on mine alone and it was only for 10 days. i would say continue trying don't give up so easily i am post op 5 days and although i am on liquids, i still want to chew, and eat real food but its all about the will power as well. good luck to you!
