  3. I had my sleeve done at Kaiser east LA I only had to drink liquids the day before and nothing after midnight.
  4. I chose the sleeve over RNY because of the mal-absorbtion issues. Also I didn't want my stomach floating around in there like an abandoned spaceship.
  5. Congratulations!!! welcome to the rest of your life may it be filled with joy and happiness..

  10. I have kaiser and when I saw the surgeon he said to get them done soon so I was already at the hospital and just went from department to department and had them all done.
  11. How are you feeling? any better?
  12. Look at you!!! I can totally see the weight loss.. You are beautiful..
  13. I had what they call water nausea, it lasted a few days and went away.
  14. I was in a car accident in 95 that had me bedridden for six years and three major back surgeries before I was able to walk again . I gained over a hundred pounds during that time and the strain it was putting on my spine caused excruciating pain 24/7. After 15 years of pain and not being able to exercise because of the pain I decided to have this surgery. My dr agreed it was necessary and since that decision I have lost 49 pounds and feel so much better. My situation isn't like yours but I know sort of what you are going through. I think yopu will find doing this will give you so much more then you ever though it could.
  15. Hello Linda, I'm excited for you to start the rest of your life. this is a journey of self worth and discovery. welcome to the rest of your life!
