Diet Question For Kaiser Patients

Did your dr. have you do a liquid diet before the surgery? My surgery is scheduled for Sept. 13th. and I have the preop class on the 5th. but I would like to get prepared (mentally). I am under the impression that Kaiser dr.'s don't do liquid diets but I could be wrong.

Thanks.
