Went to lunch an hour ago, got a lettuce wrap with ham in it.. and some new potatoes. AND I MADE IT PAST THE LUNCHTIME SMOKE CRAVINGS!!! Killed a straw in the process, but I got over the hump. You know, I didn't realize so many of you V's use to smoke! I can't believe it never came up. I knew Kat & Pam & Tracy K did.. had no idea about the rest.

Sexism Rules!
I'm late in the conversation, but I believe it's a sexist comment too. Simply because, if it was a man in your place, he would not have said that. Thus, it's sexist. But, I'm like you, I would just take it as a compliment. Only time sexism pisses me off is when I'm playing poker. I do the WSOP satellites and if I get knocked out-- even if I get knocked out because some MORON was playing like a MORON and got lucky-- they ALL like to call me sweetheart "You played good sweetheart" "Tough break sweetie". Like, patronizing me. I get so mad, I wanna smack em. One day I probably will if it's such a hideous bad beat and someone dares to call me sweetie.

They said barrels are down low enough for gas to be in the $2's.. our gas is still $3.60ish. And we still have a lot of gas stations out of gas since Ike.

I hate it when people post just to post.....
I prefer cats. I love my dog to death, and I think puppies are hella cute, but I hate teaching puppies. Puppy school, accidents on the floor, digging in trash cans, chewing, blah blah.. I had to get private lessons to get my little hellion in line. She still is so hyper, like she's a puppy at 4 years old.. Cats on the other hand.. cute, loving, playful.. and don't require attention at all moments, and don't have to teach them to go potty.

I've heard people mention kimkins, but I finally for the first time looked it up the other day. Was a long article that documented timelines, her pic and scams blah blah. Was quite an interesting read. I never heard of it till I heard people complain about it here, and then I still wasn't sure what it was. If any of you didn't know either, I recommend a google. Interesting read and passes the time. Posting to post!

Obesity test for 3 y.o.s
I was fat at age 3, and my mom never once put me on a diet  I still had WLS. I was talking to a RL friend who is overweight about this. Growing up, my dad always always had stashes of candies, cookies, ice cream, etc. It was never a 'treat' in our house-- it was part of our diet. So I never grew up being restricted from these things, and I ate em. My friend on the other hand, her parents were sticklers about sweets & treats. She said they were NEVER allowed to have them. So the day she moved out of their house, she binged on them all the time, always had stashes of these foods because now she was an adult and could do what she wanted. We were both overweight growing up.

Obesity test for 3 y.o.s
Got any info about this-article or something? It could be out of context, they may have figured out something linked to 3-year olds that can determine if they are predisposed to be obese, etc. Not necessarily that they have baby fat and are going to be obese.

We went 2 years ago, so Kat we may have bumped into each other then and never known it!! I am not totally pasty white Haydee, I am under florescent lighting  I can't wait to get a TT and get rid of that flab. That being said, I watched Doctor 90210 for first time ever (it was on and caught my attention) and they showed them doing a TT on a woman.. I got nauseated. It looks so damn painful, I just can't imagine surviving that. That would be one surgery I would go into freaking out, and they'd have to sedate me ahead of time heh. I want the result, but the healing and drains and stitches across the body.. ick ick ick. Ripping skin off, pulling it tight.. Anywho. I craved my morning cigarette for about 45 minutes, and it finally passed.. chewed the hell out of a coffee straw. I had been breaking my routine smoking habits the past few weeks so this would be easier (if possible). I stopped smoking after eating, stopped smoking when I first wake up and when I am about to sleep. I made unusual smoking times so that there is no pattern. I stopped the smoking when I first wake up, but I still would have one within an hour of being awake. Not today, yay me. Gonna keep guzzling water and chewing on straw.

risky......anyone ever have a threesome?
I have when I was living in college dorm.. was super drunk & stoned and it just happened. I was barely friends with the girl and she invited a guy friend over, and la la la. It was not my thing, and I would not have liked doing it with a good friend or someone I was dating. I never talked to her again, and I never saw the guy again. It made me feel dirty afterward and I ran straight to the showers lol.

Looks like a mess now Jennifur, but renovations are sooo nice, it's good you're taking B&A pics. I've always wanted to buy an old house and completely renovate it... doubt we'll ever do it, but I love seeing B&A of houses. And I LOL'd about your friend. I'm not going in being brave, I plan to get doped up as soon as they allow it. You won't believe the comment Russell made today.. Childbirth doesn't hurt, because the worst of it is numbed when you get the epideral. Hah.. heh.. men. Oh and Tracy, time for glasses?? And one last thing, tonight is my last cigarette. Keep me in your thoughts and prayers tomorrow, I'm already getting a kit together of ways to occupy my hands and mouth. I need all the V power!!

Almost through 1 Trimester, and my oddities.
She found the heartbeat under pannis (ugh) and into my pubs.. I think I'm deformed from deflation. I asked her where the baby is so I would know--been wondering.. She put my hand there, it's like.. definitely down in my pubic area. She said it'll move up, which is what you're probably talking about. I did buy some stupid $35 thing, baby's first sounds.. it's not dopplar, it's just.. battery operated toy looking thing that at apparently 20 weeks (though when I bought it, it did not say how long you have to wait).. and reviews say it doesn't work, but.. whatever, it's $35 and I'm curious. When are you going back to find out the sex?? I thought it was suppose to happen already...

Almost through 1 Trimester, and my oddities.
:crying::crying::thumbup::crying: I want thumps!! They did the heartbeat this morning at my appt. it's at 160/m. She took a while finding it, so I was nervous, then she found it and I made some comment and laughed--so she lost it. Then she had a hard time finding it again, and she was saying he's playing peekaboo (and I thought about your baby hiding its gender hehe). Then she found it again and it was nice and loud and steady..weee. I would normally say at 3 months, I would have been happy and settled about the idea, what haunts me is one of my friends miscarrying into the 5th month last year. She took pics with it, it was a little baby and everything.. her cervix was uhm..forget the technical term, but her cervix wouldn't hold up. Then she was hysterical and blaming the docs for not getting to the ER in time and yadda yadda. I was there for her, and felt horrible.. but now that I'm pregnant, I think back on my friends miscarriages in the past 2 years, when it happened, why, what they went through. They were all so devastated, mentally unstabalized by it. So I feel if I don't get that attached, if it happens to me, I will survive. I told my doc about that today at my exam, she said when I feel it moving I won't help but be attached. So.. I want thumping!! :w00t:

Is everyone against me?*RANT*
If it's any consolation, I decided I was going to do this, with or without support from my family or husband. I couldn't walk anymore and I felt 90 years old. My parents (surprisingly, because they shot down RnY a few years ago and I expected this to go over the same) were supportive. I told my husband in bed one night, that I was going to do this, and would like his support, but obviously I want to know his thoughts on it. He said, if that's what I want to do, "but, you could do it on your own". I couldn't, I'd tried. I have such crap will power, I can't keep to a diet long enough, and when I fall off, I fall hard and gain it all back. So I was beyond that point. Sometimes it's hard to understand. My husband has gained 60lbs over the past couple years, and tried doing Atkins a couple months ago. First time dieting in his life, as he has always been normal weight. Well.. he went in saying 'It's just will power, no big deal'. He fell off the band wagon at every chance he could (he'd find excuses). And now he's not dieting, and still not losing that 60lb. So now I think maybe he understands a little more, but when he was a normal sized guy, he did not understand at all. So it has to be about YOU and what YOU want. There's plenty of support on this forum for anyone who feels they are alone.. you're not, we're here )

Ok you guys post too much over the weekends!! I rarely have time for the computer on weekends... All I read (just a minute ago) is cobber, as COBBLER (Me too LJM!!), and how weird that you guys read my mind because Saturday I MADE A CHERRY COBBLER!! Hahaha.. anything between that page and now is like goo, I can't play catch up. Went to my doc today, she said I've gained 2lbs more than she would 'like'. Woops.. it's the cobbler!! Or my shoes, I normally wear flip flops there, this time I wore big clunky tennis shoes. Yeah, the shoes. Glad my fill is next week!! I need it so my doc doesn't fuss about me gaining too many pounds than her schedule allows.

LOL. My dad & his mom (my gma) keep trying to touch my belly. Very annoying right now, they're just trying to touch my fat rolls!!!! I am anxious for Dec. to find out if it's a boy or girl. Russell pled his case during lunch for me to wait till April to find out, which started the whole delivery room conversation. I am NOT waiting, I want to know today! I told him, I'm respecting his decision not to know, let me have my decision.

Yeah, I don't want a party in there. And I agree Pam (And so does Russell), he does NOT want to see the vajaja going through anything traumatic hah hah. I probably won't want to watch either really, I've seen many child birth shows and stuff and it looks pretty intense.. not sure I could handle seeing my vajaja doing all that. Tracy you mentioned seeing my bump, I took this pic today cause on a pregnancy thread we were talking about who is showing. So I am 12 weeks this week (2 more days I think), and here is my NON bump. Because I have some lumps, I had to show the before pic.. its 30lbs ago, but I have this ledge that forms on my midline from flabby loose skin, and then my panis which I tuck into my pants. But you can see the only thing showing I have is the ledge up top which I had anyway.. the only difference I can FEEL is my panis is harder, which makes it harder to tuck into my pants, thus I am uncomfortable.
-
And so it begins...
Here's my now belly. Since it looks like maybe I had a belly, had to show my last non-preg belly pic I took, I have lost about 30lbs since that pic, but the way I am deflating, I always have this 'ledge' on my mid-belly that hangs, and then the pannis. So in my not-pregnant-looking-belly any sort of hump is actually just my flabby rolls. My flab rolls are just getting harder on the bottom, thus the pants not fitting well.

Baby Gaga: Pregnancy & Parenting Social Network & Resources This is the website I look at.. careful with entering your due date and 'learn all about your pregnancy' , it never takes me to the right week. Whatever week it takes you to, go back or forward to your week.. then it says what your baby is doing, what you're doing.. and on the left hand side it shows a 'week whatever model' and if you click on that person it has a bunch of people in that week you can look at. Huge ranges every week, some people definitely look preg, some people just look overweight and slouching (which I can do) which makes you look preg, and some people look like me.. no signs of pregnancy at all! Here's some from my week (11) (Someone made this comment-- this is what i look like and im 11 weeks today! but i heard you get bigger faster with your second child and this is my second one. And im deffinatly bigger then i was with my son! i didnt show till i was like 6 months with him!) Here's some week 8 models---

Well that's what my mom said, she doesn't think everyone should be in there because it's important for the bonding.. she said with my uncle when EVERYONE was in there, he's a shy guy so he was off to the side while everyone else was holding the baby, etc. She said if I did allow her in the room, she did not want to be participating, she wanted to be in the corner just to see it. I still don't see his mom actually wanting to be in there, but Russell doesn't think it's fair that my mom can be and his can't. Blah. Oh and the cream cheese splenda thing, I always found the brown sugar splenda to be best in it.. tastes like icing..

And so it begins...
It's because it is your second pregnancy. The website I get info every week on my pregnancy from, they have 'models' for that week.. and some girls looked 6 months pregnant at only 6 or 7 weeks!! Then I found out, if you've already had a kid you're more likely to have a bigger belly really quick.. I'm guessing because your uterus has stretched out before, or something. I originally thought due to the loose skin, but I have tons of loose skin from weight loss and at 3 months you would not know I am pregnant if I didn't tell you. I wish my belly would show up, my clothes don't fit comfortably but I do not look pregnant, just frumpy. I want to wear maternity but I can imagine the eye rolls when I'm walking around in maternity clothes with no iota of a bump. heh.
