So close . . . yet so far away!!!
Wow I didn't know you had a 16 year old already!! That'll be fun I have a friend who just had a daughter graduate college, they got pregnant with their son right when she was graduating high school. Their 2nd kid is like the perfect kid, it's amazing. He doesn't cry, he doesn't fight, and he never has to be told twice. I don't know why but I always thought it had to do with him having a much older sister.

They said Csection will be dangerous due to my out of place kidney, so they said they don't want that to be an option, and then told me don't gain a lot of weight.. if I get fat, baby gets fat and harder to do vaginal.. so I'm talking hypothetically about vaginal. I do NOT want it recorded.. His mom is a quiet shy type, I don't think she'd want responsibility. Again, I don't think she'd WANT to be in the room, but now I wonder if I'm obligated to extend the invitation..and what if I do and she feels obligated to go because I asked.. mom said I need to uninvite her in the room, so there's no rift if there's going to be a problem. I sell gold on Ebay actually.. if it's gold coins.. whenever I've sold gold coins, I do better on Ebay because if you go through gold dealers, they tack on a fee (8-10% I think) and Ebay only has the $4 listing fee and people buy gold on there a lot. As for jewelry, there should be somewhere in town for you that melds gold and buys it that way.

When I did atkins, I mixed splenda in cream cheese.. makes like a cheesecakeish.. kind of.. sweet mix. (EDIT: I like to add red grapes and/or walnut pieces to it.. NUM NUM) I need info from you g'mas!! I'm not sure protocol and my mom isn't either. Well first, just got back from obgyn, baby is happy & healthy ) 160 beats per minute, all my blood work looks good, I don't have any STDS (not surprised, but heh), and found out my blood type! She said I did have more protein in my urine than I should, but told me she's not worried about it. Just because I took that horrible anatomy class, I know that means the kidneys aren't working properly.. but if she's not worried about it, I guess I won't be either. She also said I gained 2lb more than she wants me to have.. oops.. so at lunch I had salmon & broccoli.. hehehe. Anyway, Russ and I went to lunch, talked about the birthing part.. my mom wants to be in the room, which I am fine with. He said his mom will probably come down for the birth, and I said absolutely I expected her to.. then he says, well she may be busy with show season blah blah..and I said ok, then she is invited, but I did expect her to come (he was asking me like, can we invite his mom down heh). Then he got into, if my mom can come in during the delivery, his mom should be able to too. This is a weird concept to me, I don't think she would WANT to, much less be there.. We are trying to think of people we know who gave birth recently and what protocol is.. my mom wasn't in the room with my niece when she was born, but she said it's because they weren't married and they were in the process of breaking up during labor so it was just akward.. otherwise, she doesn't know if she'd have been in there. My cousin when he was born, ALL the family (in laws, sisters, cousins, etc) of them were in there. Just seems odd to me. I only said my mom could, because she asked to be there and she's my mom. But his mom, I can't imagine her wanting to be in there... were any of you in the room when your daughter was having a kid? What about daughter in law?? Ohhh Kat I miss the balloon festival, when we lived there it covered the entire sky for a week.. driving around town, going to work, etc.. was really cool!

((Haydee & Tracy)) OMG Denise, he is so cute. Yes, I am anxious to see if my kid has blueee eyes or browwwn haaairr.. hehehehehee. Russell has brown eyes, but he has a blue gene since his parents have blue eyes (he's a freak of nature to have brown).. and I have all blue eyes, so it's 50/50.. And Russell's dad called yesterday and wanted to talk to ME (I've never talked to him on the phone), and he's like 'So you going to give me a little girl???'. Apparently he's more excited than his mom is, which blows me away. I told him I'm doing my best hah. Then Russell said "We'll know in April" and I yelled "*I* will know in December, and I will let your parents know." Russell doesn't want to know, so he'll be the only one surprised come April. Congratulations Tracy on 209!! I hit 220 a couple weeks ago, and I'm not budging from it--either way, so I take it as a good thing. Trying not to obsess about my weight right now, but I am getting a slight fill on Oct. 15. I meant to tell you Terry, I went and looked at your jewelry yesterday, I love the oxidized look. I would totally buy some of that if I wasn't allergic to that stuff. Looks very trendy! Because of looking at that (I am guessing) I had a dream I was looking at jewelry that was made out of rare coins that had been oxidized (as the pendant).

WHY are people voting for McCain?
I think this conversation is relevant.. and though you may think they shouldn't vote for them based on this, why do you think it is your place to tell someone why they should/shouldn't vote for someone? You can't govern what is or isn't important to people.

This thread is going to be sooo inappropriate!
Ew.. you didn't notice the vitamin taste?? I did that once with a bag of sugar free gummy bears.. was a beautiful laxative

My feet are not shrinking!
Same here, 120lbs later I still wear same shoe size.. we're the lucky ones

WHY are people voting for McCain?
For sake of debate.. We are all terminal. We are all going to die. So, we're all technically dying, right this very moment! And someone who is (I won't say 'little depressed' because there is a difference in teens who get sad and weepy and grow out of it, and people who live with chronic debilitating depression) severely depressed and have such a poor quality of life, they are no different than these 'terminally ill' patients (although, again, we're all terminal). Just wanted to throw some food for thought out there, because there's so much more to consider. Someone with mental disorders that cause debilitating depression do not 'get over it'.. this is the rest of their life.

WHY are people voting for McCain?
It's more logical for people to be held accountable for their own responsibilities.

my band has a LEAK and has to be replaced... anyone else??
I did have to pay for the new band (upfront) it was $1,200 for the replacement.. which they refunded. I had to pay it to the hospital, they purchased them. If they did have to replace it, Allergan was going to investigate covering the cost. Hospital/anesthesia was a lot cheaper than my first time around, but this 2nd time I was only in the hospital for a couple of hours and not overnight.

Oh no Tracy, I am so sorry!!! How much did they raise it?? Why would they raise it? This a bait & switch? We just got a new flow-chart for management operations around here, they are hiring a QC kind of person (THANK GOD) who I have a lot of confidence in, I've known him for years and he has been GM of restaurants around here since I've known him..very good at management.. anyway, the new flow chart just lists managers and the heirarchy of departments below them. Russell is going to be excited to see his name on there. He's not a manager, but he runs the IT department. Just went to TGIF's, I got the Jack Daniel's burger.. just for the fries. I am craving fries a lot lately.. dipped in mayo & ketchup. Mmhm.. So I ate 1 bite of burger, plus all my fries.. Russell ate the rest of my burger (It was pretty good, was hoping to have it for dinner!). I was googling trying to get suggestions on natural ways to get energy boosts while pregnat. I have been sooo friggin tired the past week or so. I could fall asleep sitting up at any given moment. And just for 2 seconds, I closed my eyes driving us home Wednesday night.. eek! Looks like there's no good suggestions.. stay hydrated (I do), and sleep good hours at night (definitely do, I go to bed not long after we get home everynight). One website says the sleepiness goes away after the 1st trimester.. here's for hoping. I officially enter 2nd trimester next week!! :w00t:

Checked your 401k Lately?
Damn I am down 26% today.

Almost through 1 Trimester, and my oddities.
I guess that's how I am, I just don't believe this good thing will happen. And wow, can't believe you're due already..seemed like only a month ago you said you were pregnant!

Adorable Terry! My dog is on thyroid meds, we get 90 pills for like $15.. so $5 a month. I found it online for $3 a month, but since it's not too expensive from the vet, I go ahead and get it from her. I am listening to "In My Arms" by Plumb, making me weepy. Hah.. I gotta quit listening to sad songs at work. I've been having the most painful bowel movements of my life.. ugh! You're not a loser Pam! This morning we were running an hour late when I woke up and we still both needed to shower. So I was scrambling, made him scramble.. walking out the door, and his cell says it's 2 hours earlier than I thought it was. My clock was off somehow! I knew it seemed unusual hard to wake up at 10am today lol.

Hah Hah.. I actually knew 1 person who had it when I was growing up. She was older than me by a few years, a church friend.. she was very large.. and she disappeared for a few months.. came back skinny, knock-out, and all the guys wanted her! She said it was a tapeworm, and I was like "You're so lucky!"--I was about 13 then. She told me how miserable it was, she was hospitalized for a month I believe, ended up a year behind in school, etc. So.. tapeworm diet does work!

We don't use bacon enough to go through the normal bacon before it goes bad. The instant bacon, isn't good in a skillet if you need it for cooking, and it's not good crumbled in anything. But it's good to eat by itself, and 4 pieces are only 70 calories, which is less than 'normal bacon'. So I eat it as a snack sometimes. I do wish normal bacon came in smaller packs so I could have it around, I have tried making recipes that call for cooked bacon, using instant bacon.. instant bacon gets mooshy and doesn't have the grease in it needed for cooking with bacon.

Help - Due Date Determination Assistance
Use the online due date calculators. You enter the first date of your last period. Besides that, if anything else is different (when you actually ovulated, since you think your cycle is out of whack) there's really no telling. Your first ultrasound, they will be able to know based on size of the baby. According to one calculator, based on the first date of your last period, due date is: Your baby will be born on or around Tuesday, May 26, 2009. You are about 6 weeks pregnant.

I tried making chocolate covered bacon a few weeks ago after seeing online pics. I used my instant bacon (the kind you don't refrigerate and heats in 20 seconds). Was not very good, but I want to try it again when I have real bacon.
