  1. Only 1 week to go and I am officially into my 2nd trimester! My mom seems disappointed in my reactions to things, I think I am just very guarded. Even though I have no bad indicators, I am terrified I will get excited and then I'll miscarry and regret getting attached. Hoping when I look pregnant I'll be more into it. She bought baby moccasins for me and gave them to me today. They're cute, but I'm not.. giddy excited.. and I know she's wishing her daughter was more excited and giddy!! I hope I come around and stop being scared of getting attached. Had no morning sickness thus far, but today (for the first time) I had a queasy moment. I was starving, DH and I went to Wendy's for lunch. I ordered the chili and a baked potato and was drooling waiting for it. He brought it over, and I took one small sip from his coke and it hit me instantly.. I wasn't going to puke, but I was queasy, and nothing looked appetizing. Watching him eat made my stomach turn. It went away in about an hour, but that's as close as I've come to sickness! And sticky skin!! Weird spots too. It doesn't rub off on anything, and I only know it's sticky when I am pulling my finger away, it is just a weird sticky. The tips of my ears, and the nape of my neck. It's like the remnants of a post it note or something, nothing actually sticks to it, but it feels tacky.
  2. Sorry clever, I never saw your response.. and sorry you're still not getting anywhere  I will go through my old emails at work tomorrow and see if I still have the email from the guy I was talking to at Allergan. I am selfpay so I had to pay for my revision surgery, it was approx. $2,000... but this included a replacement band, which I did not end up needing, so they refunded $1,200..the rest went to the hospital/anesthesia.. since my doctor felt bad of my self paying, he actually did not charge for his service. Call around and see if you can get quotes from other reputable doctors in the area.. since you may have to pay for yourself. That way if insurance stands firm (let your current doctor keep trying to fight it), you have a back up plan. And it's reading posts like this, that make me all the more happy with my doctor.. heh.
  3. You're certainly not alone, and the band just isn't right for everyone unfortunately. If you look around in complications, you'll see that it just doesn't work right for all. I'm sorry you're going through that, and though I don't specifically know about it causing all of those things I definitely feel for you. Keep in touch with your doctor to find out what they think you need to do, if they think the band is causing your body all of these complications, it would be better to take care of it sooner than later. Don't let them, let you, slip through the cracks.
  4. Home They beat us to it.
  5. Oh no Kat!! This happened to my mom last year, and they wouldn't even credit her back. This company didn't have any coverage for these things, so I advised her to get the hell away from a company like that. Luckily she was only out $200 when she caught it. Then this year, my Sears card was some how accessed.. we've only ever used it in the store, at our local Sears.. so if they didn't take responsibility I would have sued them. Luckily, they just sent us paperwork, showing our signatures, taking our 'statement' about the charges, and signing that we would indeed file criminal charges if they caught whoever did it. It was used in Denmark at a sports store-- didn't even know Sears cards could be used anywhere else, much less a sports store in Denmark. Anyway, after we returned that packet they credited our money back within a week. Hope you get this cleared up quickly, and I am the weary internet fear-monger, but MAKE SURE anytime you use your card online, you know the website, and they have a logo that has encrypted security verified. Normally for overseas purchases, it's someone who hacked it online.. and I'm still trying to figure out how my Sears card was breached!
  6. Yeah I'm not ashamed, if I find deep fried or chocolate covered bacon.. I will be trying it! I would pass on twinkies, think they're disgusting before you do anything extra to it. I may try a deep fried snickers or oreo too, depends on what that actually looks like. I am a southern gal though!
  7. Oh and did I tell ya'll I had to move offices again? Just finished moving almost everything except the computer & chair. Yeesh. They moved me to the big fancy office I didn't want original, but a new employee coming in and they want him to be in my office because it's near the production manager, and they're suppose to be working together. I made it look as homey as I can, but the last person in that office had the walls painted a poop brown, really is an eyesore. Tried covering it with all the pics I have, but since it's a lot bigger than I normally have I don't have enough. I'll send a pic later! Oh and it has a big executive desk.. WITH NO DRAWERS. Never heard of such a thing, not sure where I'll keep my personal effects.
  8. Indeed, anti-anxiety meds are scrumptious. Makes life a lot easier to handle! There's a girl here at work that has them, so during this busy season when one of us is spazzing out, she passes it out. ((Jennifur)) don't stop posting, you won't bring us down, we'll bring YOU UP!!
  9. Oh definitely, right now I want to buy all I can.. but what I've bought in the past year, I feel ripped off on. I am actually down 20% total from the money I have put in. Going backward. I have 35 years or so to have the economy straighten itself back out.
  10. No, my husband was disgusted with me suddenly. I went from his sexy wife, to a baby machine. It took some long talks for him to realize I am still a woman with needs, and we won't be hurting the baby!! Consider yourself lucky  As for signs, I have read some women just 'know', and I even read some women 'just know' when they actually conceive. I dunno about all that, I had no symptoms. Well, my band got really tight, but that was when I was about a month along and didn't realize it yet.. so a month into it, band got tight..and I realized that same day I was late--which is no big indicator since I'm not a regular person. Other then that, no indication. I didn't believe it, even after the tests.. till I had the ultrasound and saw it. Since nothing told me I was preggo (body wise) I had a hard time thinking I really was.
  11. Well..I didn't know people had that many of those things. I have 1 pan of 6, and I have a mini tin of 24.. mini mini ones. I guess I'm a cupcake newbie. Like multi-quoting? I taught myself too!
  12. Hah Kat, wish I could have seen it. You're so bubbly and outgoing I can't picture you going off on anyone!!
  13. Might as well do the tapeworm diet..
  14. I felt that way this past weekend, so I got the stuff to make cupcakes, then I realized it made TWENTY FOUR cupcakes (WTF?).. Who has a muffin tin for 24 cupcakes.. so I made a cake instead. After one piece, it wasn't as good as I had daydreamed and threw the rest out. Just saying, you're not missing out.. was a lot of work for nothin!
  15. Oh till you're passed out and drooling on yourself?
  16. They're gonna thing yer preggo Pam  This new temp we hired, she's been here a month and already gotten around to 5 guys in the back..someone pointed out the herpes on her lips, and then she has been puking in the bathroom lately. The guys she slept with look absolutely sick to their stomach (one is married, ahem). I don't know why, since it's kind of sad really, but it makes me laugh. I think the funny part, besides the herpes and sleezy folks in general, she is a horrible bitch, no one likes her.. and she's really ugly... But she thinks she's a goddess. I dunno, I guess you'd have to meet her. Anyone else extremely giddy about TV being back on? I became use to absolutely nothing worth watching on, and relying on Reality TV to entertain me.. Now I have 3-5 shows a night, I am overwhelmed and I look at my tivo like it's Christmas lol.
  17. I knew complexion didn't sound right. Rosey cheeks?!
  18. That's actually true for a lot of things. Always ask your doc, especially if you know you're a high risk pregnancy. A lot of things normally OK (Sex for example) have to be avoided in high risk, etc.
  19. And for new threads, it's all automatically there at the top of your box to type in.
  20. Don't click on "Quick Reply".. just go to the "Reply" field at the bottom, and click "Go Advanced". You can edit it all there.
  21. Nah any of those things, valium, codeine, etc.. make me munch constantly.. kinda like weed.
  22. *off to get a plain cheeseburger add bacon* Wait.. what?
  23. I didn't know till now.. but here is how you multi-quote. Click 'multiquote' on all the posts you want to quote. Once you've selected them all, then hit 'quote' on one of them. Then it pulls up this edit form and has all the quotes on there. :cool2:
  24. Tweaker.. meth addict, crack.. something that makes them real fidgety and nervous all the time, and eyes dart a lot. (Looking for my shit to steal.)
