Pardon the grammar of some of these folks.. this one looked nice too... defrost a whole chicken or get a fresh one then fill it with orange juice leave it upright in a bowl for bout two hours. Then chunky cut some mushrooms onions and any veges you got in the house. Drain the juice out of the chicken and save it for later. stuff the chicken with the veges and season with whatever you like plug the hole up with a big wedge of pumpkin or potato. Paint the chicken with melted butter and then orange juce wrap it in foil and cook for an hour slowly , take out the oven when ready cut it clean in half serve it with salad and its awesome. try experimenting with different fillings like bacon cheese- seafood (This would be very unhealthy ya'll.. haha) well anything thats safe to eat or that you enjoy.

Ohhh another one. I'm glad I started a thread over there (it's that weirdo game I play).. I started a recipes thread, I always like tried and true recipes people make.. allrecipe, etc.. even with ratings they don't have a good selection of things people make all the time. I am going to make this recipe sometime this week--- Healthy Easy and Fast Chicken Nuggets When all your kid wants is chicken nuggets...gotta get creative! *Boneless Chicken Thighs (they are not as dry for this recipe) cut into strips *grind up oatmeal to a half powder half meal consistency, add paprika and salt and pepper to taste *roll the chicken in the oatmeal ...place in a baking pan and drizzle a couple tablespoons of oil evenly over it all. *bake in the oven at around 425f until done, usually around 20 minutes.

Kat- Sent you a PM! I just got back from a business meeting.. took my CSR with me. It's funny, I knew we were goin to the museum for this job, and they're all upper classy.. So I went through wardrobe trying to find something that looks nice. ALL my pants are now so baggy it's unflattering and looks sloppy. Most shirts too. So I wore a green sweater, too big khakis, and then a knee-length black vinyl trenchcoat to hide it all. The trenchcoat use to fit and looked flattering.. now it's straight and looks frumpy too. Grr. I was talking to my CSR that went with me, about how I couldn't find anything that fit well.. she said, she's the same way. She wears size 0, and has been losing weight, so none of her 0's fit. She has to wear a tight belt, but they poof out all over (much like mine). I can't imagine. So she said she's been trying to put on weight, she said she gained 3lbs, but it hasn't made a difference yet. I asked her, where do you go when a 0 is too big?? I guess she's going to look in kids?? Wow. And I thought I had problems. I just ordered size 19 (they have the weird sizes) from alloy last night. I have 23's way too big, 21 are now too big (I remember when I put on my new 21's that made my butt look so cute.. not anymore!!).. 19 may be too big, may be too small, I'm a little nervous about it. I figure if it's too big, I'll return for *EEK* 17's.. if it's too small, I'll work my way into them. The way I carry my weight, I prefer low-rise. Mid-rise give me muffin tops, high-rise.. well I'd never wear high rise.. low-rise seem to fit righ below where my big belly roll is, so it doesn't push on it and make it hang out.. and then my shirts look nice because they aren't poofing from the belly pushing up.

Poll - Are You Attracted To Overweight People?
I think it ultimately depends on what's inside, but it's the outside attraction that gets your attention.. And as a whole I have never been attracted to overweight guys. There is one exception, he was a friend first, and after knowing him a while I became attracted to him.. ironically, he didn't want to date a fat girl! Hah! And I saw a guy on intervention last night (he was the brother of an addict), and he was a big guy, but he was SO CUTE I couldn't help myself. The most beautiful big brown puppy dog eyes (one thing my DH has that attracted me off the bat). I think that's the first overweight guy I actually thought looked attractive on first glance. It's hypocritical, but I can't help what I like? DH was washboard when I met him.. he's now squishy, but I don't consider him overweight (yet), but if he ended up becoming 'fat', I wouldn't care.

Walmart
I always used Wal-Mart but hated the experience.. then I discovered stores that don't suck like Wal-Mart, so now I 100% HATE Wal-Mart and get a sense of dread when I have to go with someone. But this article is really sad. I know our insurance policies go up a large amount every year due to what the insurance pays out, so I get why Wal-Mart did it. If they reimburse insurance, insurance won't raise the rates, which most (maybe all) employers pass on to the employees to pay. But I would think for such a large company like Wal-Mart, 470k isn't that much in the scheme of things for their insurance companies. And what the hell is insurance for, if they are going to make you pay them back? I would definitely fight it. As the individual, she is paying for the insurance.. the clause that they can sue for it, doesn't seem right.

Hellooo Michelle! You sound like I've been feeling. STUPID BAND right? Don't eat crap, DO IT FOR ME nyah nyah We will get through this. I'm still bouncing on my days, woah my restriction is like 100% gone. This must have been where all my resentment and anger came from.. I knew the band was about to be invisible. It is not keeping me from eating large quantities.. only my brain does, and that doesn't work most the time (otherwise I'd not be banded). My fill is Wed. It can't come too soon. Nothing gets 'stuck', I don't get hiccups anymore.. It's like I'm not banded. My sister just brought me some hot apple cider.. MMM. Scale was 273lb last night. Red Lobster made me gain 5lbs? Guess all that painting and making my body feel like rubber did nothing. I got my DH an alien that looks like it's coming out of the wall (wall decor for in the computer room)..a telescope.. and a $200 gift card to best buy. I like Kat's idea better though. Might bring that up for xmas next year. Ok everyone think happy thoughts, lets get through this day!

Ohh maybe that's why he's so uppity!! The spot where the x-mas tree is, is where I normally have a big cat house. It's one of those 5-tiers that go to the ceiling and covered in carpet. I moved it near the front door so I could put the tree up. So, maybe that's why he keeps diving into the tree lol! We have an automatic cat litter box (Cat Genie), and it dissintigrates the poo and puts it in the toilet, and we've been noticing some tree pieces in there.. so they're definitely eating it too! I use to have a 'slow' cat, only cat I ever knew that couldn't land on his feet. He was a doll, but he was an indoor/outdoor and was hit by car. All 3 of our cats are indoor cats, I can't even remember what it's like to be 'ok' with an outdoor cat. If any of mine got out, I would just die.

Mornin Violets! Yesterday.. whew. My co-worker friend came over at 9am.. she kept sayin she'd help me paint my house (she does this as a side job) for free! I still feel weird about it being free, but.. I don't know anything about this stuff, so we decided to do the kitchen/dining room (they're combined in a big open area). Well neither of us realized what an undertaking that would be.. So we went to home depot, I decided on 'Half Moon Bay'. It's a very pretty blue grey color. The pictures don't do it justice hah hah. Anyway, the walls are textured, so we had to like 'scrub' with the rollers to get all the texture filled in. My hands feel broken today. We were painting non-stop until 6pm yesterday. Here's the end result.. I love it!!! She is talking about doing the living room next weekend.. oh man..I don't know how she does this stuff regularly. Pardon the mess, since we painted I decided to re-decorate and I'm still up in the air about it.. Then, I got my FIRST EVER 'real size' Christmas tree. It was only 30 bucks at wal-mart, pre-lit. You can see my little old Xmas tree in the corner in the dining room picture. I was so giddy about it, I got shatter proof ornaments (but this did NOT deter Apollo as you can see). He's already knocked off all the bottom balls. So I sprayed my Cat-Off spray (they don't like the smell).. 2 of my cats smelled it, and ran off. Apollo? Nope. He just jumps head first into the tree. Hope everyone is havin a great weekend. I went to Red Lobster with my parents last night NUM NUM NUM. I love that place, use to go all the time, till I got with DH.. he's allergic to seafood so now it's a rare treat when I go with my family and DH is busy doing something else.

Do you call yourself fat
Go to UserCP at the top leftish of this screen.. then on the left sidebar select 'avatar'.. then upload your picture from your computer.. I think it has to be 100x100 pixels.. I did it in photoshop (new document, 100x100 pixels, put picture there, shrink to fit, save). But some places auto-adjust your picture if it's too big, so I'd try that first

Do you call yourself fat
Well.. I am fat, but just like I don't tell people how tall I am.. I guess I figure they can see it, so I don't 'call' myself fat.. but I am what I am! :paranoid

Overweight due to allergies
One of my best friends was a beanpole.. and I guess in the past 10 years, she went from a size 6 to a 14/16. We did things like Atkins, Southbeach diet, etc. together. She lost about 8 years ago, gained it back, but since then, no diets work.. it's like she's immune. She sticks to them, and nothing happens. So she started going to a doc about it. They said to eat organic chicken, because steroids in normal chicken bloat you etc. etc. Well she did that, still nothing. She had a food allergy test a couple weeks ago, results came back yesterday. They told her she's basically allergic to most foods. She said there's only 10 food items she's not allergic to, and most of those are border-line. So the theory is she is retaining some 50 gallons of Water from inflammation due to allergies to food. I have never heard of this. Has anyone else??? I asked her if taking benadryl before eating would help, and she said they told her no meds will help with it.. but she knows she won't be able to only eat these 10 food items for the rest of her life, and she wants to lose weight of course. I told her to try the water pills, sounds logical doesn't it? Any input?

Can you eat shrimp?
I can eat shrimp.. I have gotten stuck on it (for eating a big bite of a jumbo and not chewing well). You just need to make sure to chew chew chew it. I have a hard time chewing shrimp 'really good' because it kind of disgusts me to chew it a lot.

Michelle- I love the dress you posted. I actually looked at that as a bridesmaid dress sometime last year! I think it was advertised as a replica of the Titanic Rose dress. And I see our different tastes coming through haha (I forget who mentioned the velvet one?). The velvet one 2 clicks away made me furrow up my face. Ick. When I was originally looking for dresses for my wedding, I realized for every 100 sleeveless ballgowns there are, there's only 1 sleeved one. Since we were aiming for an outdoor winter wedding, it was a pain. One place I was looking (and planned to have custom bolero's made for my ladies) was Sydney's closet. prom dresses, plus size prom dress, plus size dresses From Sydney's closet Get something that shows off the ladies, I have to agree with Pam on that. When a chance to wear a ballgown comes along, I think we should make the most of it!

I'M STARVING and its only day 3
During clear liquid, I got tired of bouillion broth.. I started buying chicken noodle soup (campbell's), and any other random flavors that had that come in clear broth (I wasn't much of a campbell's soup conissour, so I just bought a lot of different ones).. Then I'd strain them, and heat up the broth. Was a nice variety, and when I had my first bowl of chicken noodle soup broth I was in heaven

port flipped
My port was completely flipped around (the first month I had the band). They didn't catch it till 5 months out though. My port was just above my belly button.. due to the flip, my doctor moved it to the hard spot between my breasts, and 'extra' stitched it. He said from now on, all of his patients he will be putting the port between the breasts on the hard spot. He said there's no way to know what caused it, but he thought where it was, was too soft and moved a lot, etc. So now it doesn't move. I can feel it perfectly too, the top, sides, etc. It's right under the skin.

Spanking
For me, the spanking was always about humility.. I was spanked a lot (I was a rebellious kid). It was never something I consider child abuse. But a swat on the behind (especially in public), was enough to emberass us or make us feel bad for upsetting them, and we stopped whatever it was. I plan to spank my kids. I don't plan to beat them with a belt or a wire hanger (my granny did that.. now THAT I thought was child abuse). She made us pick out our own switches off a bush in her backyard. I've met kids whose parents didn't believe in spanking (an instance at the landromat sticks out).. and I think it's a terrible disservice to the children, who will be spoiled and not learn discipline.
