No kids here. I have always been round... manly figure, top heavy.. but my big boobs would give it away hah hah. I am for the first time in my life, getting a WOMANS figure, I am having curves on my hips, my waist is no longer bigger than my hips.. Slowly but surely. I am a little sad that my skin is not tightening up like I had hoped. They say genetics plays a part.. my mom was a size 0, had 3 kids, and was a size 1 and wearing a string bikini after giving birth to the 3rd. And looking fabulous. With no saggy skin. So I was hopeful. So far, I have a droopy tummy.. and it puckers up all wrinkled and gross. I hope that it's just fatty in there still and as I lose more weight, it tightens up more. And my upper arms are disgusting. But honestly, I don't care! I'm still ecstatic to be this thin, wearing size 17 jeans.. never in my over age of 13 life have I been this 'small' hah hah. If I end up with gooey arms and tummy, I still look damn good in clothes.. and DH thought I was pretty when I was well over 300lbs, so some saggy skin isn't going to turn him off.

I know it's been said, but you need to go in there, and get that fill. Don't be emberassed, ashamed, or discouraged. You're making the step to get to work with the band! My doc would praise me for acknowleding I needed the fill, and following through. How easy it would be, not to get a fill and just keep eating what you want.. food is so comforting, right? However, if your doc is one of those (I have heard about) that is basically a shithead, and does try to make you feel bad for slow progress, or not losing weight (even though you need a fill!!), let it roll off. Screw them, get your fill and go home. I have to say, I had a rough start with the band, I thought it wasn't going to work. When they revised me, and fills finally went in.. it's working like magic for me. I don't think it'll last, I think once I get closer to goal, I'll have to work at it, like I hear a lot of people say they have to work at it. But in all honesty, I'm losing 2-3lbs a week steadily since my last fill.. and I eat everything I use to, just smaller quantities.. I did cut out drinking cokes all the time, but I still have 1/2 can of ginger ale once a week. And I got rid of Snacks that go down real easy (ice cream, chips). If I don't have those things, I find a better substitute.. if it's in the house, I'd eat it all. So anyway, little work on my part at this point and it's working great. A good fill goes a long way. In the beginning I was fighting for 1lb a month, counting my calories, etc. Now it's just easy. A few months from now, I'll be on here whining about how I can't get past XXXlbs, and I'm too lazy to work-out. :smile:

I have had 1 cup of coffee.. does that count? I'm eating lunch, DH was spose to take me to lunch but now he's busy working.. so I ran to Steak & Shake.. come girl in the office had it, it smelled sooo good, was killin me. So I got a chili with cheese & onion.. and a shake. Shh.

I got a kick out of someone who names their daughter Temptress. May as well name her slut, hussy, etc..

Wooo, today is busy at work for me. AND EXCITING. First, a customer I've been working a deal with for months, of million-sized runs (which means over $100k per job, and I make commission!).. called today and said the job is live! 6 months of lots of extra income. WOO..friggin..HOO! Then.. in my sales meeting, I said my goal this year was to be more aggressive with the 'big dogs'. Well, I've been practicing it, with good results. Today, I got the 3rd largest company in Cali (that buys our stuff) to talk to me. He said they've heard good things about us, he's interested, needed me to quote some stuff, yadda yadda. WOOT. The downside, another local customer that didn't like me.. cause I gave her X pricing, and then her CSR gave her another pricing.. and so she thought I was ripping her off. Long story, but she thought I was the bad guy, cause my pricing was right and I made them stick to it. So she won't even talk to me, but she called the CSR and said she's coming in today to get some quotes. CSR told me she'd handle it, but I was like damn you may as well take the account, if she won't even talk to me, I shouldn't be making money off of her. I get tired of these local people.

This is my new b'fast, I normally have coffee or frap for b'fast, but the protein in this is so high and they're easy to eat.

Our home builders had to come by this morning, our kitchen door leaks water (has since we moved in).. this is 2nd time they've come to 'fix' it. I watched White Noise 2 with my mom last night. Anyone seen 1 or 2? Uh.. 2 had absolutely NOTHING to do with White Noise, not like they portrayed White Noise to be in 1. So the 2nd one is about a guy with a near death experience, that can see when someone is going to die, and saves them.. and it ends up on 3rd day satan posseses their body and they kill lots of people. It was a decent movie, interesting story line.. but had absolutely nothing to do with White Noise, so I am confused why it's.. White Noise 2. American Idol was a hoot!! I started it at 1am (way past my bedtime), and got about 1 hour and 40m in, before I passed out. So I still have some more to see. Poor Temptress. And who the hell names their kid Temptress? Did she name her sister Hussy? Slut? Skank? Crazy people.

Lauren wasn't lying! This stuff is GOOD!!! I got my lightly salted bags in the mail today, and I love it. It tastes just like pistachio's IMO. And I'm not a huge fan of pistachio's, but these are good. The texture is a lot nicer. Num num!

Well here's my dilemma. Each week there's like 20 assignments. About 15 of them are words in the book, or assignments online, where I can use the translator (online) to get an 80% or better. Then there's a handful of assignments each week, where you have to LISTEN to something in spanish. Oh dear. I couldn't even pronounce this stuff if I tried, much less understand a single word they are saying. So you listen to the audio, then have to answer questions (responses, or observations from the audio) in spanish. And therein lies my problem. It's asking me if Maria did yadda yadda, and I didn't even hear them say Maria in the audio!! So confusing. Anyway, I need someone to listen to the audio and translate answers for me on the audio stuff. POR FAVOR!

A couple years ago I had an abnormal pap, they said it was pre-cervical cancer.. According to my mom, that meant I had an STD. According to the docs, it could be HPV.. but they said you can't test for it, so they don't know. I had to do a biopsy and blah blah.. 6 months later it was gone, and has never come back. So I don't know what it was, or if it was HPV, but from my understanding, if that's what it was.. it would come back occasionally. I was not promiscuous, so I was really in disbelief that I had an STD. My husband is the only person I have slept with in 5 years. This was about 4 years ago.

Good tip!! I should be wearing red.. I'm wearing a very frumpy outfit today. A pair of jeans that are too big (with a tight belt), and a sweater.. I call it the 'boyfriend sweater', I stole it from my brother when we were kids, I wear it as a PJ top. It's size 4xl TALL.. so it swallows me whole, and it's Ralph Lauren. And my hair is pulled up in a messy bun. Anyway, I look dumpy today, I hate being in between sizes and running out of things that fit. I notice when I get discouraged with clothes, I lack the ambition to fix hair & make up. I don't have walk-in customers on a regular basis since most of our clientel are out of state.. but of course, today when I'm dumpy.. someone walks in, and she was so put together in her dress and fancy hair, nails and jewelry. And then there's me. I keep making an effort to look nicer at work, but then all the 'nice clothes' stop fitting, and nothing looks worse than a fancy business attire 2 sizes too big. Well of course, dumpy jeans & 'boyfriend sweater' don't exactly scream 'got it together'. I was 249.2 last night. DOH! All my snacking is catching up to me.

Hah hah, when I did the foreign exchange program to Australia/New Zealand.. it was 20 kids from Alabama, 20 kids from Texas. And boy, did we both represent. Our group was all rednecks, and the Texas group was all cowboys!! They had the big belt buckles, tight jeans.. it cracked me up. And I have a magnet on my fridge one of them gave me "Don't Mess with Texas!", that's the state motto isn't it?

Whew, ok good. I used to have HORRIBLE TOM's, my doc's never gave anything to me for it. One of my docs even said, it's not TOM that's doing it.. it's sugar! She said sugar gives you mood swings, blah blah. I'm like, I eat sugar all month long, why is it my TOM sugar is the culprit? She was a quack.. and she lectured me about losing weight & to stop smoking.. hate docs that do that. Oh really, it's unhealthy huh? I thought it was good for me. Well thank goodness you pointed that out, let me stop being fat real quick. I'm staring at my spanish homework in disbelief. It assumes you know spanish. Wow. I really don't. So all the assignments (like 20 a week!!) are WRITTEN in spanish, I don't even know what it's asking me to do. This is going to be such a horrible semester, pray for ME v's, I need that purple power.

K I know I'm a buzzkill right now, but since I had so much to do this week,I decided instead of homework I would knock out one of the outfits for the contest. Here's my sporty.. I decided on a baseball outfit.. and it's hard to tell, but she's holding a baseball too..

Woops, I was so frazzled I posted it in the wrong thread. I asked him if he wanted to go, he said he can't plan that far out in advance with work. I'm so so sorry, he said he's sorry too, he thought he could just get the rooms. But they said he had to be there (I guess so they know money is gonna be dropped!!). This is such a bummer. Michelle I hand the torch back to you, and I'm gonna sit quietly in the corner.:eek:

Well, he called them to get the rooms and they told him if he isn't checking in, they can't comp them. I'm so sorry guys, I don't even know what to say.

Don't make airline decisions yet!! GOT A PROBLEM!! We can't get the rooms free unless my dad goes too, damn it! He never told me that stipulation before, he always told me if I ever wanted to go & take folks, just let him know. Gah I'm really upset atm, and just got off work, I'll get back online when I get home.

Well I called J.Jill just now, I sent them the return 2 weeks ago :eek: It was the $250 jacket, which was too big. No word from them. So I called, she said it'll be 6 weeks before the process a refund. Jeez. That's really unacceptable IMO. I had that $250 to get my winter coat, now I need the $$ back to go find a cheaper one!!! And she was horribly rude, and when I e-mailed them they blew me off. So.. I don't plan on shopping with J. Jill again I went to TGIF's for lunch. I could not decide, so I got a classic fav. of mine.. the Jack Daniel's flat Iron (num num num). Had 1 bite of steak, 3 bites of mashed potatoes.. and was stuffed. DH's meal came with a dessert. This goes back to, If I don't have it.. I am fine, I don't want it. If it's there, I can't stop myself! So he got some oreo cake, which was bad. But the icing.. was good. So we both picked at it, I was full and did not expect to be able to eat it, but MAGICALLY icing just slides right down. So I ate 3/4 of the icing on the cake, was going for the last bit and DH said 'No more, let's go'. hah. I just have no self control when it's THERE. But if he didn't get the dessert, I wouldn't have wanted one and I would have been fine.
