I sleep with 3 normal pillows, and then a feather pillow on top that I curl up with. I adjust it frequently throughout the night! DH likes to curl up in a coccoon with the blanket, so I would wake up with no blankets and freezing mid-night, so a couple years ago we bought a quilt. He gets the nice heavy comforter, and I got a quilt!! So then I had to buy another blanket.. now I have a quilt and then a down blanket on top of that, but I always have to keep one leg out to get air.. not my feet but my legs need to breathe hehe.

Does anyone else see 2 green blocks next to my rep power? I think it's broke.

:thumbdown: See, I don't get that!!!! My sister's ex actually tried to stab my sister, then wrote about it on her myspace, then tried to sue my sister.. and sister brought in the myspace blogs and the judge threw it out. I never tried to do anything mean to an ex.. My first love cheated on me for my best friend (because I wouldn't have sex!!), and I didn't do anything vindictive. I just stopped talking to him & my best friend. In fact, he's the one who still calls me once in a blue moon and I know he misses me.. mwhaha.. And I just go "Oh yeah, I'm married now.. he's awesome!" hah.:w00t: I guess it's not just sexuality, but 2 women in a fight is crazy drama. And I know drugs & age have to be a part of this. I meant was the moving in ASAP a lesbian thing really.

Drama drama drama. I think I told you guys how my sister was cheating on her girlfriend, and my sister ended up cutting herself. Since then, it's been such a headache. They live together (at 19..), and now my sister has a new girlfriend. Met her 6 days ago on Myspace, she lives in Nashville.. they met up 2 times, and are now 'madly in love'. They have plans for the girl to move down and move in with my sister (and her ex.) Her ex, is looking for an apartment, but meanwhile they are fighting and I gotta say from looking at my sister's ex situations, lesbians are VINDICTIVE!!!!!!!!! Her gf's always do weird stuff like mess up their house, car, steal stuff, get in physical fights, stir up drama. When me and DH broke up (we broke up a lot early on), we split, and didn't talk. We weren't out to get each other. Any of my exes, when we broke up, that was it.. no fights afterward, maybe some sadness, but nothing to hurt each other. So we're caught in this drama. Sister's ex works here. Her ex has been texting my sister like 'go ahead and kill yourself' etc. And sister is depressed/suicidal/bitchy.. and meanwhile I got a text from her ex this morning "Good morning love, it's icky out so drive careful!". Akward... She been texting my mom saying she loves us and hopes to stay close, etc.. meanwhile texts my sister to tell her to kill herself.. derrr. So it's a rough time. But meanwhile sister is madly in love in 6 days with a girl she met 2 times, met online a week ago. And wanting to move in together, and just.. grrr. Wanna smack her. Meanwhile she still doing drugs, not working, not going to her classes. She's such a trainwreck. DH said he had a talk with her yesterday and she said she's afraid of being alone.. so DH said, get a FRIEND as a room mate, you don't have to have a lover. You're 19, be young and single and date people.. get to know them, etc. I was saying, looking at their myspace, the new girlfriend is just as crazy as her "I am so in love with you, I've never felt this way", etc. They JUST MET! So DH said "Maybe that's how lesbians date?". So, Pam.. is this how lesbians date?!

Pam- For the back woes, in my case, the inflammation kept my spine out of whack and in pain. So if I could get the muscles to relax and quit tightening up, the rest of it would heal. This took a special concoction of either 6 advils or ibuprofen, or 2 skelaxins & a valium. Make sure you take something that eases the muscles in your back so it can work on correcting itself. I know NSAIDS are a no-no for banding, but the occasional use (when needed) is no harm. Just make sure you drink enough water to flush it out of your pouch.

Are we there yet?! And Terry SOOOO glad your mom is doing better, I was holding my breath to find out what was going to happen with that!! I'm going to tell ya'll now so I don't blurt it out on the trip and become a sad sap and cry the whole time. My oldest cat (7 years old), wonderful, most loving cat I ever had.. She has never ever used the litterbox in my 7 years since having her. I have tried so many things through the years, this is a whole long story in itself. Anyway, I've been literally going crazy.. I can't take it anymore, she ruined the carpet in our brand new house, and there's no end in sight. I'm so tired of cleaning the floors every day when I get home from work. She can't be an outdoor cat, and I talked to the vet, and everyone thinks euthanasia is the best option. Otherwise she'll end up scared and in shelters the rest of her life as people turn her back in, or she'll get turned outside and be killed (she has claws, but doesn't know how to use them). I have been crying about it all week, I hate being in this situation, I love her to death and this is the next solution. I was going to take her, so I can hold her in her last moments, but I broke down at the idea of my last thoughts of her would be dead in my arms.. sigh.. so I am having DH or my mom do it Friday after I leave for the V trip. When I come home, she'll be gone. I am hoping to have so much fun this weekend I don't think about it, but if I randomly break into tears.. at least you'll know now!

Ok, I will be the pain in the butt. I am as particular with water as I am my food :eek: Can someone bring Aquafina or Desani bottled water? And don't put it in the cooler. I like room temp. of those 2 brands. Deja Blue is what we have at work, has a weird tap water taste!! Thank you :thumbup:)

I haven't taken them, but I have had a couple friends (one was bi-polar, the other was border-line schizophrenic (sp?!)) and both of them gained quite a bit of weight on their meds. One of them finally stopped the meds-- and she gained more weight. So I don't know what the correlation is. Both of them were bean poles when we were growing up, so I don't know if it's just an..after high school gain.. med gain.. depression gain.. etc.

Morning V's! Everyone get HEALTHY!! Munch down on those vitamins and swipe the Zicams, take the Claritins.. get better!!! And Awww Michelle, that was so neat! I woke up and my phone was beeping, so in between drying my hair and getting dressed I listened to it. I feel speshul now!! I set aside 2 pain killers from my teeth extraction, for the flight to & from TX. I am so excited, I can't stand it! Oh and last night my best gal from out in Albuquerque (from when we lived there ) called and asked me to be a bridesmaid for her! Originally she was engaged to DH's best friend out there, they broke up.. DH's best friend got married a month ago to another girl, now she's getting married next May in ABQ. So she asked if I would, I said YES of course, I miss her and it will give me a good excuse to go out there. DH said "I'm not going" (he doesn't like her some reason), and I said "You weren't invited." and he goes "I guess I'll go and hang out with Neal, I'm sure he's not going". Men!! He STILL wasn't invited lol. But then she said her engagement party is Aug 2 this year, I will be in JAMAICA.. but I am definitely planning for her wedding next May. Hope I slim down some more by then!

I eat whatever I wanna eat most the time. I can't eat much of anything, so I may as well enjoy it! I avoid bread/rolls, they fill me up too quick then let me down and make me hungry, or get stuck.. And I avoid fast food, which goes to chewing a lot, most fast food is pretty gross if you have to chew on it a lot.

I love sushi, but I am way more picky now :wink2: With the band, since you have to chew-chew-chew, you get to savor every flavor, and I have now realized some places do not use good seaweed for example. Sometimes, that's all that's left in my mouth after all the chewing, and the seaweed is horrible tasting (really fishy at some places). Sometimes I spit the seaweed out when I get to it. Other than the seaweed, I have never PB'd on sushi.

I don't really eat something special due to being banded, I eat smaller portions, and I know of some foods that I can't handle personally. But I like www.allrecipes.com , I can search by ingredients, and even put in ingredients I DON'T want. It has ratings & user reviews, pictures, and for servings, you can put in the servings you want and it automatically adjusts the recipe for you.

It seems to be the minute the car is paid off something happens. Glad you're ok!

I say hot tub, they are more enjoyable year round.. they are good if you ever have aches/pains.. and they're a lot easier on maintenance than a small pool.

Took that yesterday, I got a thrill out of the fact I look skinnier than my husband (in face pics only but I take what I can get!!)

No one has called me!!! :biggrin: Does that mean no one has my number or I'm not worthy to check?! Another set of human remains have been found, a couple miles from the first set. Startin' to get a little creepy since it is near my house. Making sure to lock my doors at night lately.
