My husband is boring, even when I try to play games with him about this, he isn't phased. I took my ring off and went to a bar with the girls from work once, and came home and told him about the guys that hit on me.. Nothing!

Yes, there's no telling what the chest pain could be. It could be serious or it could be a pulled muscle or the band hit a nerve, etc. But if it is serious, you need to know.

Sheesh you guys are so quiet today. About 20 minutes ago, I decided I wanted to cut my hair off! So I just did that. It's just to my shoulders now.. I'll take a pic when I get home :crying:)

I dunno about water, I drink a lot of water and I only poo once a week now. That one time makes me think of child birth, lots of grunting, tensing up, etc. etc. Fun stuff! I tried upping fiber and it didn't help, so now I just kind of go with it. I ended up with really bad stomach contractions a month or so ago and I took Magnesium Citrate to stir things up, it didn't do much. I think this is one of the biggest 'side effects' the band has caused for me. I did plan to try a softener one of these days (when I remembered) but maybe I'll pass since you guys said it didn't work :crying:

Just 2 cents on the 1,230 calories. With 100lbs to lose, 1,230 calories is not too high. If it actually was 1,230 since everywhere would calculate it differently. As you lose weight, you'd eventually have to change it to a lower number but not yet. Anyway, just saying. Good luck Mavis :crying:)

Go see your doctor, and if he's not interested in figuring it out, go to the ER and get another opinion.

How long have you been banded, how many fills have you had, and have you ever needed an emergency unfill? That's what I would think about. For me, I have needed to be unfilled, but by no means emergency. I have yet to have an emergency unfill situation.. If you're really worried about it, wherever you are travelling, call and find a local hospital or doctor who could help you should the occasion arise.

I thought she was just an actress. If she was one of us, I'm sure she would have spoken up about it.

Oh and why didn't anyone tell me how bad I look with my hair pulled up? I always do that when I'm being lazy, but looking at our pics, I look horrid with my hair pulled back!! And I keep forgetting to say, I did text you Kat, but so glad you came out with no problems, and I can not wait to see your B&A pics!!!!! The weight gain is probably a lot from swelling & water retention from the surgery.

Uhm... There's a little more to it than that. My doctor talked about his personal statistics with patients leaving their spouses after weight loss. That could correlate with affairs. It's a self-esteem issue. If you're with your spouse right now, not because they're 'the one', but because you settled and didn't think you could do better.. then it's possible one day you'll go.. I deserve better.

Woohoo for cruise! July 4th is a big to-do for my family, and then it's our anniversary. I guess we can just keep doing August vacations for our anniversary.. I got this from our travel lady today.. (SHEESH) Customers who purchase domestic economy class tickets on or after May 12, 2008 but before June 15, 2008 may check one bag for free and check a second bag for $25 each way. Customers who purchase domestic economy class tickets on or after June 15, 2008 will be charged $15 each way for the first checked bag and $25 each way for the second checked bag. Our carry-on policy of one personal item (such as a purse or laptop bag) plus one bag remains in place.

The see-food diet. I see food, I eat. No really.. I don't have a specific diet. Once you have good restriction, you can't eat a whole lot of any one thing, so as long as you're get your Protein in (which will fill you up), you shouldn't have to worry about the rest.

I looked for the Alamo letter, never found it Our lawn mower died last summer, DH made it run a month ago but while we were in TX he was trying to mow and it died for good this time. We had to go buy a new one yesterday, and I'm our budgeter, and I've got our Jamaica trip coming up I've been saving up for, blah blah.. and he said "how much can I spend on a mower?" and I said "Under 200".. then he wants a weed whacker too. Argh! $25 electric one isn't good enough, needs to be a $100+ gas one.. then something about mowers, we ended up with a $300 one. Then we went grocery shopping, and it looked like we did good at the shopping, till the last 10 items (hair dye, batteries I guess?) were $100 all by themself. Yeesh. You'd think money grew out of our asses. My ass hurts so bad today.. I guess from hitting the rock during tubing, but it's so painful to bend right now. Or from the money growing out of it. How cool the top getaways for girlfriends has our bridge!!

No problem, I just grabbed the best one I had on my computer, then I saw someone else had some really good pics of you, so just e-mail me the one you'd like. Bowling league starts tonight, my mom was going to bowl with us.. she use to be a pro, then she ruptured a disk in her neck years ago.. but a month ago when we were finishing our last league, she open bowled, and hit 200's almost every game.. it's like she never left. So she was going to join the summer league, but then the past 2 weeks she said her neck hurts more than it did before her surgery, she thinks she ruptured another disk. DAMN! So she's not bowling, and we're trying to scrounge up a 4th player last minute. If he won't join we're going to take the summer off

Warm fuzzies! And thanks Jane, you reminded me. YES I AM SCATTER BRAINED.. I am going to get on my laptop and upload Jane's Pics within the next 20 minutes. Pam about the prizies (what does this word meeeaaan?!) it's.. done. :cursing: I was a little weepy about my cat tonight, so I decided to take on the bathroom she trashed to remind myself why I had to do it. It was so nasty. I had filled the tub with some water to keep her out of it, and what do I find? A bazillion flies nesting in there. SIGH. So bug sprayed the hell out of the place, lots of bleach, put down a rug, tidied up everything else.. and we finally have a guest bathroom. Who is coming to visit me now?!

Ok, I'll handle the graphic art, I only charge $250 an hour!.. or just some good company & a promise of a fun trip next year!!!! Just send me all your pics from your Denny's, and everyone brainstorm on ideas, and I'll put it together! I think Cafepress would be the best way to buy them, you don't have to commit to any certain amount, can look at them online before buying, and can buy as many (since you want to give them as x-mas gifts, right?!) as you want.
