waking up with water in the mouth
I agree with Floridays and go with a slight unfill. If you are vomiting on a regular basis and food is getting stuck, you're too tight. If food is sticking in your Esophagus I would think that would make you slime. Keep us posted on what the Dr says!

Mentioned the LapBand to my PCP for the first time today...
Here we can see surgeon without referral letter, but when all our paperwork gets sent to insurance for approval, there has to be a letter of approval from PCP included. At least that's how it worked out for me.

Mentioned the LapBand to my PCP for the first time today...
Congratulations on passing the PCP hurdle! I had the same experience with my PCP. Like you said, he lit up and told me the same thing about having other patients that are doing well with it. Also said me dying from morbid obesity is a greater risk than having LBS. So you're on your way, enjoy the journey to better health!

Not that you directed the questions to me, but thought I'd let you know that Protein shakes are good for hunger at this time. I got 3cc in an empty band.

Hey Dude where you been? Had my first fill end of Nov. 3cc in 10cc band. It hasn't changed anything on what I can & cannot eat. Still stick to 1cup of food, protein first & drinking a lot of water. At my 6wk visit I have lost 36lbs and Dr said it was all me b/c band wasn't restrictive yet, but promised it would be soon. Scheduled for 2nd fill Jan 6. Dr also told me on average restriction comes between 4 & 7.5cc- Neck pain
It's funny I never got the unbelievable shoulder gas pain after surgery, that everyone talks about. But when I'm eating and get a twinge, do not take another bite or time for heating pad.lol- The Race is Not to The Swift!! Take Your Time!!
Thanks GF! There's a season for all things! Time, chance & prayer. Lots&lot's of prayer! Have a great week! - BMI
