  1. My nutritionist encouraged us to journal everything from what you feel like before you eat, what time you eat, what you ate, how much and how it made you feel. Also exercise. That way you can determine what foods bother you and know to avoid them or if you're doing brainless eating. It's just until you can eat on automatic pilot and not make mindless mistakes. Plus it helps them figure out what you're doing wrong if you don't lose or gain weight. I just got a plain notebook, b/c it seems like a lot to cover.
  2. It's only the beginning!!! Great things to come!
  3. She was born 1lb 2oz, 12 yrs ago. Has always had that huge smile. We know when she's not feeling well, her smiler is broken. So today after 3hrs. of surgery and now laughing until she snorts is a true miracle.
  4. Her momma said she was laughing so hard she was snorting.LOL
  5. You can do this Georgiagirl!!! Just follow your Drs. orders.
  6. Missy is right. Regroup and start again tomorrow! Did your Dr. give you any kind of sample diet? I got a whole notebook full . Best Wishes!!!

  12. Maddy's had multiple surgeries, always in recovery with just Tylenol. She had brain & abdomen surgery at 7:30 am this morning. My daughter just sent this. This is how I get through it. Wanted to share with my friends!
  13. I just got one of those mixer cups that has a metal mixer ball. Told they work great for mixing shakes. Bought it at Walmart. Also sometimes I just munch on some low fat cheese and it keeps me full.
  14. You're going to lose a few more lbs jumping up & down like that!!! Great job!
  15. OT- Just wanted the nurses to know I appreciate your hard work and dedication. Almost every nurse I know doesn't get the adequate breaks to even go to the bathroom. I once had to answer phone in NICU, b/c nurse had 6 babies to take care of while others were either on break or taking a baby for test. My granddaughter is in the hospital a lot, just had surgery today, and you nurses are not only wonderful to patient, but the family too. Well done!!!! Wish I could help you with eating problems!
  16. Thanks! I was thinking you could do that with other soups also. Def going to try this!
  17. I want to backup my good friend CG, she's right as always. As long as that scale is going down is all that matters!
