Very helpful info! I'm curious as to the reason for the Listerine.

0 Warning Points Suddenly Appeared Under My Profile Picture
On the bright side, they fixed the issue with asterisks on "night" and "spice." So those words won't get you in trouble anymore. :-)

Chicken Breast
I've always found that if you use monster chicken breasts (like most of those sold today), it's really hard to get them to be anything but dry. I use tenderloins when I can. Otherwise, I try to find the smallest breasts I can. They're usually from younger chickens and don't turn out so dry.

App Problems
I'm still having all kinds of issues with the app. When it first started screwing up last week, it highlighted all of the threads I've participated in whether or not there were new comments. Now, it won't follow any threads I comment on or threads I start. On my profile, I can only see my comments through July 19, even if I refresh or click "load more results." It was fine when I first downloaded and one day last week it just quit working right. Muy bizarro.

New Here From Oklahoma!
Yeah, but it's not too bad. I'm self-pay so I don't have as many requirements. Had my first consult about 3 wks ago, dietician/exercise/psych last week. I see the Dr again on the 27th and I'm hoping to get my date then. My biggest obstacle is that he's making me lose 10% of my weight: 36 lbs! I'm down 11 so here's hoping.

Has Anyone Heard Of Or Used The "sacred Heart Diet"?
This is almost identical to the cabbage soup diet. I did that once and had such severe diarrhea that I had to quit on the third day. I suppose it could be effective, but I'll never try it again.

Post Op Diet..
- Inexpensive Savory Snack Ideas
I'm not much for sweet protein bars, and the sour cream and onion soy crisps and Ostrim beef sticks which I LOVE are pretty pricey through my doc's store. Does anyone have any cheap savory protein snack ideas or stores where things aren't as expensive?- Spicy Food!
I'm pretty sure I'll never be able to give up hot & sour soup. I hope my sleeve will cooperate!- I Wanna Be A Skinny b***h!..lol
I'm a guy, so I guess I'd be a skinny bastard. :-) Pre-op, current weight 355, goal 190.- Brand New To The Board - Looking For The Best Pre-Op Tips
I am currently on the way to losing the 36 lbs I have to lose before I can get a date. I met with my nutritionist last week and she gave me an amazing plan. I've lost 11 lbs so far and haven't been super hungry. Breakfast, Protein shake Mid-morning, Protein Bar lunch, lean meat Mid-afternoon, shake dinner, lean meat and non-starch vegetables Evening, protein bar It's certainly not "easy," but it's very doable and has worked well for me so far. Good luck!- First Dinner Out With Family
Oh, great. Now I have to go get some scallops. :-)- Out Of The 300
Woot!- Did Something Change?
I've been having the same problem for a couple of days. It's frustrating!- The Last Supper

Same thing here.- Three Letters
Ha! It blocked it!- Three Letters
Good thing you said "might" instead of ***ht!- Three Letters
I assume that the system puts asterisks in place of the letters n i g because it's close to the n-word. Like to***ht. But come on...seriously?- Pill Question
I'm still pre-op, but I'm wondering this: I take bp meds, an anti-anxiety and a mild anti-psychotic for OCD. I assume I won't be able to take pills for awhile after surgery, so how will I take these meds?- Psych Eval And Nutrition Visit?
I am self-pay, but my doctor's office required it. I had my psych eval and first nutritionist and exercise physiologist visits yesterday and they were all incredibly helpful. I would not want to go into this life-changing procedure without having this team behind me.- Marathon Appointments...
I saw him a couple of weeks ago. I'm self pay, so the psych clearance was just a requirement from the surgeon, not insurance. - Inexpensive Savory Snack Ideas
