  1. I'm 6 days post op today too and I haven't taken any pain meds since I left the hospital on Wednesday at noon. The only pain I've experienced but the incisions have been my largest on about 3 inches on my left side. It only happens if I stretch too far for something. Today at work I was feeling some slight annoying back pain and some in the muscles under my boobs. More annoying than anything.
  2. April 25th and you can't keep food down yet??? Oh that scares me. I'm 5 days post op and have 9 days left of this liquid crap. I can't wait to bite into an egg or eat some shredded chicken. If my new stomach doesn't take it well I will surely die!

  4. Holy crap! 10 weeks? I would need the money. That's a long time.
  5. My Dr doesn't limit protein. So I think your fine.
  6. I only scheduled off for the rest of the week. I guess I will see what the morning brings me. My Dr. said some people go back within just a few days, so I figured that 6 days would be adequate. :-(
  7. I hear a lot of people need to have their gallbladder removed. Might be it. I've already had mine removed in2002. But the thing that comes to mind first and foremost is kidney stones. Sounds like the pain I had when I had Kinsey stones.
  8. I am scheduled to go back on Monday, and I'm only 4 days out right now. But I'm a receptionist. I'm noticing that everyone has different after effects from surgery and right now I have no energy or anything. I'm not sure if I will be able to return Monday.
  9. My post op instructions said at least 2 weeks before submerging in a bath or pool. I'm sure as long as healing is going well, 2 weeks is fine. I miss the pool at this point and can't wait!
