Is this something required by the insurance or surgeons office? My insurance company says that all I need is a 6 month supervised diet? Bcbs of Wny

I am self-pay, but my doctor's office required it. I had my psych eval and first nutritionist and exercise physiologist visits yesterday and they were all incredibly helpful. I would not want to go in

For me, it is required by my Insurance company, and my surgeons office as well. I also have to do the 6 month diet AND sit with a exercise specialist, dietary specialist and a behavioral health specialist! They require alot!
