  1. Congrats!!! That must feel so good. I'm 9 lbs away and have been stalled for 3-4 weeks. Been so long can't remember. It will be 43 years since I was under 200. Can't wait to see how that feels. 209 feels good.
  2. Congrats getting to this point. What a joy that must be. I am 9 lbs away and have been stalled for at least 3 weeks. I hope both our stalls end soon.
  3. The loose bowels are so bad for me. I have had major accidents. Today was a dilly. I don't get cold anymore. That only lasted thru the fast weight lose. i have to ask my doctor about the loose bowels. I don't know why this happens daily usually more than once. The little bit of food that I eat, you wonder where it comes from. I did find out that I am anemic and that is one of the things caused by anemia. Hopefully I can get my iron level back up soon.
  4. No smell change and all food tastes the same to me. I am 5 months post op. the only thing I noticed was I enjoy avocado now and never liked it before.
  5. Hope you feel better real soon.
  6. I had Chris Northup in Cinti. 5 months out and down 66 lbs. what group is Watkins with? I went to 4WL Seminars before I chose Northup. At the time he was the most qualified around here.
  7. Anyone out there had him as a surgeon? Trying to compare notes as to weight loss and what you were told to do.. I am 5 months out and down 66 lbs but am at a standstill. Post here or please e-mail me.
  8. Are you sure you are supposed to be eating bananas? Seems kind of early for any fruit. But you do not feel real restriction until you eat solid protein. Then you will feel full and won't want as much to eat.
  9. You need to get a restraining order and get him out of your life. I do not know how you will ever have successful weight loss with all these problems going on. Concentrate on your child, your job and your diet. Best of luck to you.
  10. My pain level was awful the first week. You sound very much like you are going on vacation. I hope this is how it pans out for you.
  11. Congratulations and keep up the goof work. Can 't wait till I get there.

Wait until after surgery and you are going thru ketosis. Talk about bad breath, you can't stand it yourself. I brushed and brushed and gargled to no avail. Best of luck on your surgery. You may be in ketosis now if you are on a liquid diet and have been for a couple weeks.
  13. You must be very young. Being pregnant with. Just being sleeved and now you want to fill your stomach with pop. Think of that precious gift God has given you and eat and drink for that baby.
  14. You would have thought they would do some sort of pregnancy test at hospital before surgery if you are of child bearing age. I feel this was very irresponsible of the medical profession. Well it is over now. Make sure you take all your Vitamins and check with dr to see if you should take extra. Best of luck to you and your baby.
  15. I was terrible. My family came over to put up my tree for us and to hear my son tell it I was awful and short with all of them. I guess they will never put my tree up again.
  16. Legs and butt were the first to go. This has never happened on any other weight loss I have had.
  17. I have been researching pain Patches. That way I figured it bypassed the stomach. But the side effects still say possible stomach ulcers. Going to talk with my pharmacist about it and then my doctor. I have to do something also. My pain is a constant 7-8 unless the hummidity is down. Sometimes I get a littlr relief then. Have been off anti-inflamatories for 7 months now and thought eventually would get used to the pain but that did not happen. Anyone on the prescription pain patches?
  18. Why can't you be around your friends and relatives? The first month it was almost too much to go out to eat with others because I could not eat anything but mushies and liquid. My first month was December so I chose to skip all the Xmas parties because it was too hard at that time. But once I could eat food I was fine. I went out with everyone and still do and either get my own entre or an appetizer or eat off of others plates. Nothing has changed except the amount that I eat. Everything will be alright and your life will go on except there will be a lot less of you.
  19. Leaving on a short trip Monday and this is the first flight since I lost 66 lbs. will be great not to ask for a seat belt extender. I am looking forward to the flight.
  20. We want to help both you girls. When was your surgery? If you are newly sleeved, the hormones are flying. I was so mean to everyone that I am surprised anyone speaks to me now. It gets so much better as time goes on and the added prize you will be thinner. Just sip sip sip your liquids and try to get your Protein in. You did this for a reason. Keep your eye on the ending result. You have children and you need to be healthy for them. Best of luck and get help if you need it.
  21. Mine is thinning out but nothing like this. I have very short hair through.
  22. 5 months post op and the time I woke up in recovery the pain was a hard 9. The pain meds they gave me did not touch it. Then every day it was a little better and by the end of the first week I was fine. Still having trouble getting fluids and protein in until day 10 when one morning I could drink so I guess the swelling went down.
