Truly in the same situation im livinh on tums and the hope i get enough Water down to survive i went for an unfill last week and its just as bad now.. Idk what to do im at a point where i literally just want it removed im tired of all the chest n back pain and constant heartburm and night cough from reflux i almost choked to death on it a few times not to mention ive had two port revisions

Girl when ur hubby gets home he.is gunna eat you up! Lol the little weightloss changes that you dont see because you see yourself everyday are gunna be super noticable to him

Six years out and I still take 2 Multivitamins and im starting Calcium today. Doc really stressed the importance of this.
After you start getting fills you will have tough days where getting all the Vitamins you need isnt so easy.
So better safe then sorry plus band or not a flinestone a day is good for everybody

Go get a slight unfill! Or atleast visit your doc for a barium swallow and see what they suggest. Because the longer you wait the worse it gets and all its doing is inflamming your band. I just went threw this was stubborn and didnt go in amd it ended up si swollen and inflammed I couldnt swallow my own spit and I ended up almost chokin to death in my sleep not to mention totalky dehydrated

People are ignorant the worst part is it takes twenty compliments to dull the pain of one crude remark.. My husband said something so beautiful to me I cried this was right after we met and were just friends and I was explaining my lapband to him so he didnt look at me weird when we went out to eat and he said why do you have that? Im like because im fat and he said whos fat? Im like me I weigh almost three hundred pounds! He said so what you are such a beautiful women I dont even see your weight .. For someone to see me for me was the best day of my life... But u know what always sticks out in my head my step grandma looked at me and said youd be so beaitiful if you werent fat what a waiste of a face..... Im like wow dont sugar coat it... I just ignore ppl now who are ignorant they do not kbow my life or my story I know im healthy now and I know im loved and valued I dont need them

So yes this is the mens room but I was doin a little peekin lol... I understand that must women are raised to be ladies and keep everything else behimd closed doors but I apparently missed that seminar cuz I feel comfortable talkin dirty n actin crazy in a crowd .. Maybe not exceptable by some but I say why hide your true self? Plus all my friends are just as big of freaks as me lol

When my pouch and throat and mouth are instantly filled with thick insane amounts of spit that wont stop until im instuck.. Im talkin thick weird spit (like on big daddy when the little boy has ketchup spit thay he can dangle half way to the ground then suck it back up..) Sometimes it pours out like a fire hose.. I asked the doc about it and he told me its our bodies nattural response to choking so if you were actually choking your body sends out a signal to make this insanley thick gooey spit to help unlodge the stuck item.. Well occasionally something sitting in my pouch causes it to think im choking.

What I miss more then anything is being able to chug a drink.. Just down a Powerade or soda... Really brings me dowm

If your doctor refuses to discuss it with you go to a bariatric doctors office and start the discussion with a doctor who understands what your wanting and going threw.. My primary doctor had nothin to do with my surgery I set up a consultation with a bariTric surgeon and off I went on my journey

I actually asked my doc about this what yoir goimg threw is totally normal everytime you lose or gain more then 5 pounds you send your body into a small panic..your body is trying to reset its self so until its understanding of whats goin on you will continue to have a weird cycle eventually it will figire it out

Omg same here lol 6'3 155 eats like a 14 year old boy doesnt gain anything we to are going to join the ymca! Does ur fianciee like basketball or football or weight lifting? If so they may get along great lol

One small warning just from mine and my step moms personal experience so that incase it happens to you you dont freak out when I woke up I had this killer heavy feeling in my chest like someone was sitting on my lungs I jumped up and freaked out I thought they had cut me open all the way instead of laproscopically because it was so intense.. But it was just the feeling of the gas escaping so no worries not tryin to scare you just wish someone would have told me that so I wouldnt have scared myself! Called my doc and luckly they said they would do another unfill for free!! Thank the lord cause im seriously gettin dehydrated... And hey once u get all banded up we should meet up sometime its nicr to hang out with someone who knows what ur goin threw plus I could so use an exercise buddy my husband is a stick and I wanna smack him lol so its no fun walkin with him

Thank you .. This has truly been a mess ofcourse my band would act up as soon as im away from my doctor.. I just have heard a lot of stories about er band experiances and none seemed to pleasent.. Jusy trying to get enough relief so I can drink Water its gettin to hot to be struggling with liquids
