  11. Dr. Kelly, Cece and Omar were all wonderful! I was there July 3-8 (hospital 3-5) . I am on hormone replacement therapy and he said they would take extra precautions for blood clots ..but I did not receive heparin shots..just wearing the compression socks. Omar brought in an egg shell mattress for my husband to make the bed softer. Lol. The hospital was called Oasis of Hope florence Healthcare Systems. Staff there was wonderful as well. I didn't need pain meda beyonds my stay even though it was sent home with me. My biggest fear was bloodcots too...but my experience was so much easier than my hysterectomy. I had no pain, no nauseousness ..I walked and walked to help prevent bloodcots. I am 3 wks out and 19lbs down. I feel wonderful!
